Finally done. almost!
Well lance brought a load of crap form the house, and it really is mostly crap. but this load had the washer and dryer. My fabulous older brothers came and helped unload the trailer after helping to take my moms fridge and washer and drier to her new place. Thank goodness for them , or it would have been all me. I helped bring the fridge in and yeah that was fun. Tomorrow we will go finish cleaning and turn in the keys! but i have to remember the rocking chair from out front, lance forgot about that. Really this lay-off comes at a great time, he gets 2 weeks to job hunt paid, so he is moving us in. Pretty great! he has tons of people calling around for him selling him to their friends trying to get him a new job. and they all know, about our reality, with the kids and my cancer, and the new house! 48 people showed up at lunch today to say good bye. Very flattering.
i think i have decided more money is better than the same insurance, so if that comes up i have made my choice. It all depends. oh and they let 20 other people go today also, and 200 company wide. they are cutting all of the home goods, so cable boxes, chips for VCR splitters or other crap including phones. SO everyone in the home goods section is either loosing their job now or in 6 months to a year depending on their projects. but they kept all the critical people to get the projects finished. Lance's boss that hired him, his project ends in 6 weeks. that would suck knowing you only have six weeks until you loose your job.
Hope has her special-ed preschool evaluation tomorrow, for her speach, i hope it is bad enough for her to get in. i'll let you know.

Glad that he got a severance package to tide you guys over! And how awesome that he has so many people looking out for him!
He will find something, and hopefully it will be even better. I know it can be stressful. I lost my job right after my first baby was born, then hubby lost his right after our second was born....could be why we only have two kids! You have a great attitude. And so nice to have help getting unpacked and settled in. Can't wait to see your house!
Horray, packing is almost done. Don't you just love that feeling? I would have totally come to the lunch. People LOVE you---how could they not.
i'm glad that everything is working out. you are so positive! the twins have been doing speech therapy and was the same way about them getting in, just hoping they would be little mutes! HA! good luck.
good luck with the unpacking. that is not my specialty, we had boxes that sat and sat. when we moved I found boxes that i had never unpacked.
Good luck with the new house, and it sounds like you have a ton of people rooting for you. SO glad things are going well!
Wow Julie! Always love to read the latest on you guys! You really do have such an amazing upbeat attitude about it all! And to look for the positive in a bad situation is also amazing... Your kiddos sure are lucky to have a mama like you!! Good luck with all the movin' in! Smile. Breathe. LAUGH! Ü
