Today's new Giveaway is from Becky @ SCRIPTURE MOM! Last week she emailed me and asked if I'd do a giveaway! of course I'm thrilled to. so here we are.

I've known Becky for about 12 years. from back in singles ward as acquaintances . Turns out, she was Good friends with Lance's sister Wendy growing up. So I'd see her around and last year her daughter was in Liberty's school class. Small world. So i run into Becky at church, school stuff, and around town. I got an email a few weeks ago that said Becky just authored, Illustrated and published a new book, "Adventures with the Word of God"- making scripture study exciting for the entire family.

Do your children's eyes gloss over as soon as family scripture study starts? Adventures with the Word of God is exactly what you need to get them excited about scripture study. Interactive scripture reading makes family study fun for the whole family. Help your children learn and understand gospel principles directly from the scriptures with a year's worth of scripture study themes.

it's an activity book with scripture study ideas for Families with kids. there are Monthly themes, that have a scripture a day to go with the theme.

themes like:

*The Family Proclamation

*Pioneers

*Missionary work

*Charity

*Building Testimonies

I have to admit i was skeptical at first. I'm so not churchy, and I fully admit I struggle with scripture study for me, the family and definitely with the herd of little kids i have around here. But i was willing to check it out, and see what this book was all about. Becky came over and showed me her book. the themes and her posters, and daily scriptures. it's one scripture a day. you print it, paste it on card stock, and add Velcro or a magnet. i was excited about it! TOTALLY EASY! not overwhelming like i assume scripture study is, and FUN! my kids would totally be excited about this!

there was an Easter egg hunt in April. with scriptures about the Resurrection. WAY FUN!

gifts in December, and turkeys in November.

she has it all there, no looking up references unless you want to. and with a little prep once a month you could have FUN and EASY daily scripture study! i was way excited to think even I COULD DO THIS!

YES! even me! WOW!

now you can too.

she said she does it with her kids during breakfast. alone after her hubby is gone to work. and they love it!

you are welcome to play along with this giveaway or it's available online at these locations .

Book Nook Plus for 20% off.

available here on Amazon

the publisher site is Cedar Fort and you can get it in book, Cd rom, or an E-book form.

or at Seagull book.

if you want to know more about the LDS religion, also know as the Mormon Church- you can check out this website here.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks Becky for letting me hostess this giveaway. I'm so excited to get my stuff together and start.

Awesome!!! I could totally use this, I was just telling Cody that it's about time that we sit these kids down and study the scriptures (real reason behind it is my kids can never answer the questions at church, the don't know the answers, great mom, I know).

Hey Joobs. I want to win something. I need one of those purse holder things that you hook on the table at the restaurant so your fancy purse doesn't sit on the crappy floor. Do you have any of those left? I think you had a contest with those one time. PROZAC. Necessary. It is just like the kids Adderall or Concerta....... You need to plan way ahead on that stuff. Running out is NOT an option!! From your big sis, Vic
