posting finally! you know you missed me!

Well Lance signed today, Whoohoo! The loan is only in his name because i screwed up my credit years ago. but i am being added to the deed when the deal goes through, Just in case. Then there was a surprise $4000.00 fee at signing. thank goodness his mom had some money laying around we could borrow, and at this point i think she is fine loaning it to us, because for 1 it was cheaper than buying it for us and letting us rent, and 2 because she knows where we live and will pay her back. And since she was willing to buy the house, but it was going to cost her 35 grand down, it's cheaper to loan us the money. and i have to admit we barely qualified and it was pretty much a huge miracle. IF anyone needs a loan i know a great mortgage guy, who works miracles! I think i will be buying him a gift! and I'd love to refer everyone to him, so really, ask me for his info. and i think the gift shall be a PIG WITH WINGS STATUE! Because i thought we'd get qualified for a house when pigs could fly! Also my fantastic sister did our escrow, she is a fabulous escrow woman! and the poor woman had to deal with us and my mom and the whole closing fiasco, and everything else. We spent the night here last night, and the kids asked if we could again tonight! i don;t think they get the fact that this is our house forever , after it closes. and that my mom will move to her new house. I still have a little stuff at the old house and have to go clean, the maid misunderstood, it had to be done before Friday. So yeah that should be fun too. So hopefully mom will get keys tonight. The kids started boredom busters today! and i have to say it was pretty great to drop them off, Hope fell asleep in the car and Joy is watching a movie and Pierce is hanging out while i blog. All fabulous things, quiet house, still lots to do but the drama is mostly over!
oh but new drama is on the horizon! lance might get laid off from Freescale semi-conductor!
He is a computer systems engineer! They might be closing down his department, which is apparently designing and testing radio frequency stuff. Meaning TV or cable things of Phone stuff. I am not sure really. While loosing this job might be really inconvenient , it might mean more money for us in the long run. A new sign on bonus, six weeks paid severance package, our stock we got when he got the job from the sign on package, will be paid in full to us etc. abut the bad news is the whole insurance change right in the middle of my thyroid cancer crap. I have a biopsy on June 19th. and they still think i will need surgery. anyway it's been a fun weekend thinking about all of this in addition to the House closing drama, combined with my birthday, and my ultrasound results AND MORE TESTS. All delightful as they are. The kids have been great, fighting with each other, but otherwise very helpful! OH and our bird flew away yesterday. but that is ok, we are gaining a dog and a cat with the house, and we are thinking about a new kitten. So that is all that is going on. hope this was worth the long read and the wait for those that have been waiting, to hear something. Oh and Peyton crashed the motor scooter, on Saturday, and got a nice shiner and some road rash but is fine otherwise . I took pictures, I'll post them when i find the link. He learned a good lesson about wearing the helmet. i don't think he would've gotten the black eye if he was wearing it. But every guy has to have a black eye sometime. It is a really nice quality one! all the way around. pictures, someday!
