Saturday Fun!

Today we loaded and delivered a whole trailer worth of stuff, to the new house. Long hot day! Then we had a Wheeler function, the kids got to play an a water slide in the back yard at one of the in-laws houses. I don't think they even ate, except the cupcakes for the birthdays. It was fun and we stayed 'til 9 there.

My brother in law posted our kids pictures on his website and i picked an abundance. I wanted to copy and paste some but he has a copyright thing on it. :( so I will wait until i have prints. OH my gosh i hope he gives us a good deal though because I picked out $300 worth. and I really don't want to pay that much.He is not the cheapest photographer around. Secretly I was hoping he'd just do a CD for me and give me all of them, to do what I want with. I'll have Lance ask. Some of the shots were so perfect, you could totally see their personalities shining through. Seriously fantastic! I would love all of them . But my budget can't afford the ones I picked.

We are keeping busy getting ready to move. I have an ultrasound on Monday to do the lymph node mapping, which should be delightful! I hope this imaging place knows what they are doing! I'm sick of less than fabulous medical care.
Oh and I got a statement for my PET/CT scan and the grand total? $6,765.00Ok the breakdown was 1,200 for nuclear pharmacy and the tomography (imaging) $5,565.00! Nice huh? the insurance payed it at 90% my estimated portion? $460.02! Holy cow! They haven't sent me a bill yet, I'm hoping they don't! The insurance actually only paid $4,140.00 , The negotiated rate.
Ok and get this! The ENT/Surgeon I saw in April, charged $293 to spray numbing stuff up my nose and scope into my throat to check out my laryngeal nerve . ( do my vocal cords work?) And I have to add the numbing stuff is so gross and the scope up my nostril and into my throat, unpleasant! then the office visit? they charged me $433. they payed it at only 70% ( i need to call and fight that) and my estimated portion for the torture AND the visit ? $296. 00! No bill for that yet either! Holy cow and we have great insurance , supposedly! Needless to say i am rather disturbed about this new info, and of course live in fear of the actual bill!
