HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOY TO THE WORLD!

JOY is Five today!
She is my # 4 baby, and is so fun to have around. She is nutty and talks non stop, but she says the funniest things, and is oh so smart! She loves almost everyone. On occasion she gets tired of some people, but generally she loves everyone! She loves to sing and dance, she can totally remember songs she's only heard once before. She is really emotional, she cries in movies, and has loads of empathy for others. She cried every time we left my moms house after we moved out last year, for over six months. and She planned what house they were going to share someday, and they were gonna share a room, Joy was gonna " have the bottom bunk and grandma could have the top".
She loves horses and other animals. and she is getting quite the horse collection! Joy has no sense of personal space, she likes to get really close to you to talk loudly, right at you, I think so she is sure you are paying attention to her fully. Which is of course an issue being the 4th of six kids. IF SHE COULD SHE'D HOLD YOUR FACE TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE LOOKING AT HER. She loves adult attention, and hanging out with her grandmas. and she always asks if they are working tomorrow, whenever she sees them, because if they aren't working the next day, the next question is "can I spend the night?" She loves that she is named after my mom. And for years she called herself "Joy to the world" . She has a cousin Elizabeth, and she loves her the best because they share a name.Joy is fearless, she'll squish a bug, or hold it, and she would hold the snake and the giant toad we caught last year. She would pick up dog poop whenever our dog pooped in the house. Joy is delightful, and sometimes she is annoying but i have to love her because she and all her loud, quirks" is all me" I was just like that as a kid. She looks all wheeler, but her personality? that's my kid! On her birth announcement, there was a quote my mom had, " peace is Joy resting , Joy is peace dancing" ! I had no idea at the time how true that was, peace IS joy resting , anyway!

So happy birthday my sweet Joy! I hope it is all you had hoped for, and may all your wishes come true! You start Kindergarten next year and I will have a quieter day but I will miss you lots and hope you learn new and exciting things, and I'm sure you will amaze those poor unsuspecting teachers!
