a jam , a jam, a jimmy, a jam, a jimmy jim, jam jam on!
I made Jam last night! around 11:30pm! super easy, and i could have made 2 more batches, but i didn't purchase enough containers, and I only got 2 packets of liquid pectin so the 3rd batch already had the sugar in it by the time I looked at the instructions to use the powdered pectin. so early tomorrow i can go buy more liquid pectin which is I think the way to go! and gladware containers and TaDa! ! 2 more batches of JAM! I have only made cooked jam before and holy cow it is far harder than freezer jam. and by harder i mean more time consuming. But when i made jam the last time it was with my mom and sisters and we made a mega 4x batch of jam. and we didn't stop at one flavor, we made strawberry and apricot cooked jam. Lance thought it was pretty fantastic. but that was back when I only had 3 kids. So now I am feeling super domestic, and considering cookies again. but I'm gonna hafta double the batch. One batch just wasn't enough for this herd!

I love freezer jam and how easy it is. It's nice to be able to give to people besides eating it yourself. Did you just make strawberry? Let me know if you find any good recipes for other kinds. I've only made strawberry. And I need a really good bread recipe if any of your friends reading this has one!
I love freezer jam, it's right up my alley so easy!!
I want the recipe. I need how make that.
oops, i need to learn how to make that.
Glad I could "inspire". I didn't even know they had Liquid Pectin!!! I am jealous, I used the powder. Oh, Safeway has the perfect size containers for jam to. And the Rhodes rolls sound soooo yummy!!
