why is it fall already in the stores?

OK i love to shop for seasonal stuff but "hubba wha"? I could've died when i walked into Joann Etc. and they had a HUGE fall seasonal display! IT is JULY! and in my inbox? Costumes!

WE had a rule in our house as a kid, no planning Halloween until school starts. because my little sister and i would talk incessantly about it all summer long . Apparently this costume company didn't hear the rule!

I usually love the pace that the seasons take in the retail arena. but this year it is killing me. Easter wasn't over yet and low and behold it had summer and fourth of July shirts.
back to school now competes with fall? and Christmas is almost always out before Halloween is over! and the worst part is............. if you wait to buy it it is always gone!

And what happened to Thanksgiving???? It's like it doesn't even exist anymore. They jump from Halloween to Christmas--no turkey anymore. so sad and I totally hate it!

I know I hate that too. It's like they are just trying to rush us through another year!

Ugh I went to Old Navy on Sat and they have all their fall stuff in stock, and NOT ONE pair of denim shorts in the little boy section, but if you need a sweater, long sleeve t, or hoodie, that they have a plenty of! It's 116 people! This stuff gets worse each year too!

It does seem to start earlier every year. I did just find shorts for the boys from Old Navy on-line. And I have to admit, I've already planned Halloween costumes and ordered some stuff for them....I didn't want them to be out! I write on my calender now to buy Christmas pj's in Oct. and shorts in Feb. or the sizes we need will be gone.

Christmas is now too. You can see it in the stores already. Halloween will come quickly, and Thanksgiving will be a blink of the eye. So glad we have holidays...
