I can't believe it has already been a year!

Lance forgot Pierce's middle name during the blessing, and since we had opted to bless him at Peyton's baptism after the confirmations were over, i could whisper loudly across the room his middle name! Brady because Pierce makes us like the Brady bunch with 3 boys and 3 girls! which i admit is funny and yet it was better than the name we talked about -XVII pronounced Sk-vi, which is 18 in roman numerals! which we have considered or really just joked about every time we are expecting a boy. because how funny would it be to have the name
Pierce 18(XVIII) Wheeler? yeah we are mean like that!

This kid has been a surprise in every way! and i listed it on another post and holy cow i still have emotional issues with the whole experience. Good thing he has been such a good sweet baby. even after only 3 months post radiation, and having another placenta in there with him, but no heart beat, so to pass that one later. and then my lack of thyroid hormone, and no anti depressants or adhd meds because with such a rough start already i couldn't add that risk to it too. and even if he killed my plans to have a natural delivery, and i had to have a surprise C-section because when the dr. broke my water, he felt compelled to shake the Dr.s hand. ( his arm was over his head in the birth canal, and then the Dr. tried to shove it back over his head, even though i hadn't had an epidural). his heart rate dropped, Lance wouldn't go in the O.R. and my mom had to rush down for the c-section to be with me. , and then the spinal headache afterward,and then the blood patch and the catheter, and scar, and the permanent dunn-lop , and and and ...
then acid reflux, and projectile vomiting down my shirt 5 times daily, soy formula, and dr. browns bottles, and needing to take zantac liquid, and then the ear infections like everyone else has had, and then tubes.
and it is a good thing he loves to smile and giggle and be with the other kids. he loved noise and company and everything that the 6th baby should. because the lord knows if he is sending a baby to a family this crazy he better send one that could handle it!

and now with 8 teeth, and he says "out!" to the dog, and tells people "no!" and "don't" and thinking he is so big and stands in the middle of the room and takes steps , thinking he is going to be the youngest to walk. this kid is killing me! I am so sad he is already ONE! where has the time gone?
