a little somethin' to look at ! Hair bows! finished at 2am!
ok i messed up on these two. one has the purple stripe in the middle of the bow and the other has it on the outside. so this is for a kid with one pony tail and an extra bow. whatever!
ok this one was cute. but i was lazy and left the wire in! this is the mega roll from Costco, it happened to match the girls solid shirts i got, and so they are all going to match today, in their separate classes. but it'll make for cute pictures. and it'll do for the first day since i didn't have time to get to the ribbon store.
gosh, have i mentioned i didn't get to go buy ribbon? and Lance was just mentioning he assumed and thought it was pretty great, that I'd gotten over that obsession with the bows and the matching......... little does he know! i have just been lazy about it over the summer. but not during the school year!
**attention** Theory!*****THEORY ALERT********
i feel like it is easier to like a cute well groomed kid than a dirty unkempt one. and it is true with my own kids for me, if they look all nasty and with hair uncombed and dirty faces i am less patient with them and more easily embarrassed by them , than when they are cute and clean and tucked in and handsome! so you know i want them to be well liked and treated nicely by the teacher. they need all the help they can get! and i asked my Mother the retired school teacher if my theory was true and she said yes it was, at least for her! ! any teachers out there have an opinion on this theory? Ashley, Kylie, ZB?
these are long ribbon bows(i took the wire out of these) , i got tired of trying to make two of a kind, and the same exact size for two ponytails. so these will look cute and more grown up on Liberty or wild on Joy. we'll see who picks them in the AM.
* *Hope will get to pick between the two in the first picture.**
ok it is 2:30 and i have to get up at the butt crack of dawn(6:45) to make lunches, and you know get the kids ready to farm out the door to school! YEEHAAAAAAA!
feeling pretty great about this again! all the freedom! whatever shall i do with it?!
Probably BLOG! we shall see!

Do you like that I'm commenting at 4 in the morning, can't sleep!! The bows are so cute, how you all have a super first day!!
You are a nut! You need to take a nap today. But I agree, I think first impressions are important, and I like a nice clean kid, too. Sadly, I don't have a girl for cute hair bows, but I used to put them in my dog...she hated it but she was really cute.
those bows are so cute. And yes, I agree, I think people treat the kids better if they are done up. Not over done because then people judge them, but hair combed, bow, cute matching clothes. Yes, I totaly agree!
Love the bows . I agree w/your theory. My husband always says the kids do not need to be all done up. I disagree. Maybe not always done up but at least clean and presentable.I think they deserve respect and dignity.I also think it helps at school.
Love the bows! So cute! Hope the morning went well!
CUTE BOWS! I saw Joy (very cute) in class when we dropped off Ashley. We actually ran a few minutes late cuz it took me a few minutes to take pictures. Ooops. They rode their bikes while we ran beside them. ha ha. It was fun & very hot. Hope your kids are having a great 1st day!
