ok details of the wonder of today.
get up, way too early(7am after going to bed at 3:30ish) and send 4 kids to school.
chat online with a friend.
rush to bathe and get Hope dressed to put her on her bus, and had to scramble to get her socks and shoes on because i piddled and the bus was here before i realized.
she cried today about riding the bus because it was a sub, and not the normal bus driver lady. (sad)
post my top ten shows on my blog and take way to long doing it. no links were added or pictures. oh well.
fabulous Ashley swings by and brings me a beloved beverage!
post about Ashley! love her ! again no link, i could link but i didn't! lame.
Hope gets home off bus, what did I do for the hours she was gone? blog.
Neighbor lady shows up and needs to use my phone , hers was out of service, turns out they cut it off if you don't pay your bill. bummer. seriously long time with her here, long enough to miss my chance to lay down for a much needed nap.
Pierce wakes up, i blog.
i blog too long , miss my chance to shower, and have to settle for wetting sad hair. and rushing to get Joy from school.
pick up Joy, rush to DR. in chandler.
they are a fabulous speedy clean and courteous office.
quick exam, scary mole is very scary. Dr. checks her all over for others, many moles only one scary one makes the cut. literally. they must excise it and biopsy it. now. today, i wish i would have taken a picture of the scary mole because it is too late and gone now.
Joy is a rock star! for real! she doesn't even flinch when they poke the needle in for the liddocaine, and not when the DR. cuts it with the cutter thing, think apple corer on a smaller scale. and not even when she snips and peels that mole off her neck, she lays so still and quiet! she amazes me! then they did 5 stitches. (have to go back in 10 days to have them removed and hopefully we'll have results before then. testing for melanoma! she is freaking 5 . getting tested for melanoma, i had been kidding (well kind of) about that, and here we are one visit, mole removed and biopsied, possible further excision if it comes back bad. JOY rocks so hard core. adults have a hard time with that. the liddocaine burns like the devil! but she didn't even flinch, and her eyes didn't even water! HOLY CRAP SHE IS BETTER THAN ME!(my eyes water) liddocaine burns, and they stuck it in 4-5 places, and swelled the mole up really big. then the corer, and the snipping and the peeling, then the stitching! her biggest issue was being in her panties under the drape and having the DR. look at all her moles. she was kind of hyper about it. and talked alot! oh and there will be a scar on her neck right below her ear forever! not a small scar but not totally giant either. that visit was totally worth the 25 bucks for the copay! love that DR. results in one visit. no wait and see crap! yay!
and the scary part about the visit is, since my dad had melanoma the risk doesn't pass to Joy, it passes to me. and i have moles. itchy moles, big moles, some that bleed for no reason, moles that have more than one color, moles i am going to have to get checked. and Peyton has big moles. lots of moles. he has to get checked too. seriously ? like i don't have enough going on? moles? skin cancer risk? really ? seriously? lame!
and the A/C on the main floor crapped out yesterday, well it has been loosing freon for a while now, but we charged it and we are good to go. well i guess we are out of luck now because the compressor blew a valve?and we have to get a new one. good thing Lance's brother has an A/C company! love lances brother! and he rocks ! so we aren't totally screwed. thank goodness. and we do have the upstairs unit, so it just has to work harder to keep us cool. no big deal. and we freeze at night. yay for that!
so since Lance was working, not at home, i had to have my mom get the big kids after school, i took the 3 younger ones with me to the dermatologist appointment. when i went to pick them up it was a party going on, my sister and her family were there plus my aunt. an i was tired, so i took my time loading up. i stopped at little Caesars for cheap pizzas and get home in time to ditch the kids with lance and rush to...
Curriculum night started at 5:30 for kindergarten, then 1st grade, then 2nd, then 3rd. and instead of delightful pie and a announcement time, there was a video shown in every grade . I saw it 4 times. and then i get to go back to parent info night on Thursday night too. for E.L.P.
whoohoo! i got home at 8pm to the kids up doing their homework still, no chores done, and papers all over the floor. i guess they played video games, together, LORD OF THE RINGS i am sure. Lance is just as much a kid as them. sometimes worse.
so now i "Get to" go and put away the mountains of laundry Lance washed (and i have too) because there isn't any more space to hang anymore up. maybe I'll take a picture so you can see to what extent my clean laundry is. it would be quite the accomplishment if i did put it away.
i fantasize about the family closet! a whole room to hang up clothes, and bins for socks and underwear, for the whole family. a one stop shop for getting clothes out and putting them away. i am talking ultimate fantasy! Lance doesn't think it would be practical. i think it would be the most practical room in the house. forget the play room! give me a mega closet for the whole fam-damly! sweet!

HOpe everything turns out o.k. on the biopsey. Scary stuff! Sorry about the A/C. I hate when stuff like that happens. So lAmE about the school. Did they not stop to think that most parents have children in different grades and would be watching the same thing over and over? I hope you like the ELP teacher. We'll talk more about ELP later....
Busy day! I am glad Joy did great, that makes it so much easier on Mom! I hope it comes back ok. Sorry about the AC, hope you can get it fixed soon, yay for the family business!

And, I love that idea of a family closet! I'm sure I missed something oh well!
I have tons of moles and haven't had any checked since I was 17 ... at the time they removed about 6. My dad also had melanoma a couple years ago, so I need to go.
