pictures from our eclipse dinner! warning Spoilers!
here is the picture Jen lifted off my page and made better! so i stole it and posted it. thanks Jen you are smarter than me.

and i wouldn't post this because my mouth was open in both pictures. and the guy helping us out with taking the picture didn't know how to zoom in! oh well . but there it is.

Janie holding Elizabeth!ok we hit Mi Amigos, pretty much my fave place to go with a group. and sat and chatted for a long time. I met in (real life) some blog friends! i got to meet April and Shaundra! so fun to meet in real life. and i was only a tad horrified at my teenage stupidity being remembered! I never thought anyone would remember me, much less dumb things i did but yeah, i know better now. but still fun to meet. and it is amazing what a small world it is. sorry still obsessing about that.

So we chatted about the book a little. and chatted about tons of other stuff too. we had lots of discussion about some of the outtakes from the other books that are available online. it added a bit more depth but they didn't make it through the editing process. so check those out if you get the chance. interesting concepts were brought up about whether Jacob had imprinted on Bella ( and was lying about it) or that he might imprint on Leah or Leah to him. and about the night in the tent. and the "tension" in these books. good points were brought up and i think all of us agreed it is a great book and we are dying to read the next in the series! and even more Midnight Sun which is Twilight from Edward's perspective, it would give so much more insight into the characters other than Bella, and i can't wait! Midnight Sun won't release until sometime in '08! huge bummer! the first chapter is online too!
then we went and saw Becoming Jane. which i liked myself but was a tad bummed at the end, and wished the story had the fairy tale ending i like to see. so between the book and the movie it was a frustrating night in my opinion. way fun though to go out with a different group of girls, than i have before. I have never been to a book discussion , i like to read but a book club is not on my roster of nights out( yet). but i would love to go to any book discussions about this book, just to hear more opinions. and we all know i love a night out.
anyway, opinions? thoughts on either the book or the movie?

HI!! I just noticed that the post before this one was done at 3am! Haha, when did you guys get home?! I'm bummed I had to leave early, buuut... since it is 4am right now, there would have been no way I could run my 10 miler on 1 hour of sleep! LOL! I had a GREAT time last night & I really enjoyed meeting YOU and your friends! Sorry about bringing up the horrifying teenage experience, it's the only thing my younger brother remembered of you! :D
OK, first off nice pic of me (with Linz) go double chin! Anyways, I had fun, and I think I was upset with the movie because of the ending and of how things just "were" back then, totally frustrating and totally irritating. But still a way fun night!
april, i got home at 1:30 but chatted in the car for a little while then came into blog. yeah it is never smart blogging until 3am.
Fun! And I thought the pics were cute and didn't notice Jen's double chin until she pointed it out!
i thought Jen looked great and really why would i think her double chin looked bad? i have my own! and didn't notice hers! she looked hot!as did everyone else!
Ok well at least none of you look like you are holding your fat stomache!
our night out was sooooo much fun. i could not stop talking about it when i got home, so much that i kept my husband up til 4am. even though the movie wasn't the ending that i wanted i still liked it. and talking about the book was the best, i loved hearing everyone elses opinions and hearing things that i missed. (ya was i talking when you took that picture of me and jen cause ya)

What a fun night out with the girls!!! And, I agree it was so fun going out with a different group. I also loved all the different thoughts on the book, loved it!!!
Glad you had a fun night! So fun that you got to meet some of your blogging friends! Kinda funny cause April is pretty good friends with a friend of mine..so it was kinda funny to me to see that you were friends with her too..sounds lame I know, but it's always funny to me to see how people know people...oh what ever..glad you guys had fun!
