Well if that is the biggest thing you have to worry about.........

I have heard that a lot from Lance this week. or maybe just today. and it kind of bugs me. i have lots to worry about. i whine about the small stuff to him, and think about the big stuff, but whining gets me nowhere with him on that. so i vent about stuff that doesn't matter. everyone has to vent sometime.
but he keeps telling me.....".Well if that is the biggest thing you have to worry about".........like i am worried about crap! and none of it matters, when really i am just talking to hear myself think.

do you ever do that?

what do you whine about?

is the big stuff or the small stuff?

what does your husband say about whining?

First of all I am so glad that your daughters appt. went well. I had been thinking about her. My daughter Sarah had a limpnoid removed a few yesrs back. That is a whole other story!

Let's see...I seem to whine about the things that bother me around the house. Laundry, shoes laying around, messes made, etc. I am sure that nobody is litening! uggghh! :) Keep whining, it's healthy!

Come on now!! You have 6 kids, I think your worries are legitimate!! You have every right in the world to whine about what you want to whine about.. I try not to be a whiner, but yet I still am!! I whine about his huge shoes being left all over the house for me to trip on & him never cleaning up after himself!! I love how it is just assumed that I am the maid around here.. Just to name a few.. :0)

My husband is more of a worry wart than I am. I vent about things that drive me crazy and tell him life is not so bad and he needs to simmer down a little.

alan says if i don't want him to solve my problems then not to tell him. sometimes i will tell him stuff just to tell him and he thinks he has to come up with a solution when all i wanted him to do was listen. MEN!!!

Usually Jeff just listens and offers no solution, which in turn makes me think he isnt' really listening to me, and even more annoying, when I ask him did you even hear me? He can repeat it word for word and then gets a little smirk on his face (Corbin does the same thing!) UGH! I am the worrier, most of the time, but I keep it all internal baby, you know me, sometimes I like to just keep things inside so they eat me up, so healthy!

Well, what Lindsey said is EXACTLY what my hubby thought he needed to do in our first year in marriage. I would get sooo frustrated, as well as him. It was after talking to a good friend of his that he learned early on (lucky for me) that ALL he needed to do was LISTEN.....NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM! So, that being said Will will listen to my whines, vents, etc and just take them....thank goodness.

I think you do have every reason to whine or worry or vent!!! Husbands! Ugh.

My hubby thinks I'm asking him to solve everything, too sometimes, like Linz's, when I'm just venting to him. Other times he says he's sorry and he understands. I don't think he's ever told me to deal with it or it's not that bad. Usually we'll agree if we say things could be worse. But I'd kind of be perturbed too if I were you! And I'm so LOL about Jen's comments.

I rarely complain about things to DH because he has enough to worry about on his own, and I figure that I have friends to listen to the small stuff.
I would be upset if that comment came from DH, but he and I may have a different relationship than you and Lance do...
Anyways, I have to agree with Michelle. Keep whining. It's healthy.

You have very right ti whine..or complain..I do think it is more of you speaking out loud..like you said to hear youreself think. My husband isnt a big fan of it..usually doesn't say much when I do..I think he is just tuning me out! :)That is what we are all here for..we all understand what you are going through..so let it all out! lol about brandi tripping over trevor's HUGE shoes..she isnt kidding there..always wondered if what they say about big feet is true.. :) LOL

Nice Dendi!! LOL.. Glad I came back to Julie's page & saw your comment! Yeah, I'd have to say his shoes are huge, but I don't really have anything else to compare to, so I wouldn't know.. LOL :0)
