whoohoo!
we have lift off!
ok well we have a concrete job offer anyway! and yay! it is with a real company! not just contracting. whoohoo! group insurance! and they have to take me no matter what! yeehaw! because i worry about those things and my pre-existing condition!
it is more money than we were getting with freescale! and a less volatile market. i don't even know the name. it is an energy company instead of semi-conductors. he still has people calling too but , you know i am thrilled to have a real offer! and the more interesting thing is he will work from home. the company just expanded to AZ from somewhere else, CA I think and they don't have an office yet. but i am actually really excited about that! No gas money used and he'll be home already if i have an appointment, or need to go to lunch! or shopping. and the baby is napping. we'll have to set up some rules like he can't complain about me not doing anything, or napping, or blogging. he'll have to pretend he is gone to work, stay in the office and leave me alone. and I'm sure I'll have to leave him alone and not ask him to do the dishes, or clean up messes all day long. I am excited! and i won't have to rush home to get Hope off the bus, which is always hard for me. So yeehaw! yay! whoohoo! a real job again! his brother is bummed he won't be around to help doing AC anymore , but he is really excited Lance gets to use his degree. and get some real experience being a die hard computer nerd! oh and he starts officially for the new company on the 20th. so i have to get the office organized and cleaned up before then . we got a good start on it but it has shifted to the back burner again, with the kids home for the summer! so that will become my priority starting Monday. and in the meantime he is working for On semiconductor doing something . he worked for them for the contractor guy, and then the guy was loosing money paying lance, and the people at "ON" liked what lance did so much, they fought to get him to come back, which is great! so until he starts working from home he is working at On semiconductor again.it's a good way to network and make professional contacts! excited!

That's great! Congratulations
Yeah for you guys! very exciting! I like your "rules". Even though it is nice to have the hubby home, for me it kind of throws off my routine. You know, like blogging, bon bon eating, tabloid reading, Diet Coke drinking and best of all shopping!! Yah right! In a perfect world. I bet it will take alot off your mind to have insurance also. Congrats!
Very exciting, I hope it all works out for you! I could definitely see the advantages of having your husband work at home!
Congrats!! I'm so excited for you guys. Mike works from home and at first I hated it but, now it's pretty nice!!
That's awesome. Glad that things are getting back on track for you guys!
YEAH!! Congratulations!!! I am so glad he found something he likes!!
That sounds perfect for you! Glad it's all working out.
Whew.... A sigh of relief. I am so excited for you. I can not imagine my husband working from home. It would be to hard for me not to bug him for stuff or leave him w/the kids.
