Blogger meet and greet - Lunch with LISA! YAY!
I was so excited! Today, i got to meet my blog friend Lisa from Texas today! whoohoo! who happened to be in AZ for family togetherness with her in-laws! aka torture. We met at my beloved barro's and had lunch. she wanted to meet my real life friends Lindsey and Onehm too. and Jill who didn't get the email during this busy change in her housing situation. so she missed out on the fun! huge bummer for Jill! i would have liked to meet her in real life too. anyway, Lisa was not pleased she didn't get to meet Jill, and i am sure we will hear something like that when she gets home on Sunday and posts her thoughts on our blogger lunch. can't wait to hear what she thought. i thought it was fun! and interesting to meet in real life, we obviously know tons about what kind of goes on our blogs. so we didn't have any trouble finding things to talk about. but i was surprised to hear Lisa's voice, why i don't know, but it wasn't what i assumed it would sound like. not that i thought anything in particular but still i didn't expect a slight accent. and she had a quieter volume than i thought she'd be, maybe i figured she'd be louder and more boisterous. maybe she was nervous? i was a little nervous but not weirded out about it! i guess i didn't have time to be super nervous, because of course i mismanaged my time, and checked my email, and didn't put my make up on until i got in the car for the 3 minute drive. silly. and i had to get Hope off the bus and Lance helped me get her in the car and then took his sweet time kissing all of us goodbye which is sweet but really? i was running late! i hate to be late. it worked out but Hope was clingy the whole time she is PMS-ing today! she had to sit on my lap even to eat. and then we got there and the room was a tad crowded only because another group of my friends was there. and some other people. lots of kids. i was glad we only had a few with us. it went well! yay! on meeting Lisa. Sorry Laurie you couldn't come too. maybe next time!

So glad you had a good time!
How fun!!!! I am sure it had to be so fun to meet in person! I am behind in blogland! I am still wanting to take your Dr. Phil test. Maybe tonight!
How fun! Isn't it amazing that you might not have ever met some of these people if it weren't for blogs and computers? And that you're making friendships that could last a lifetime now?
Boo hoo. I'm so sad I missed it! I was all excited to go tomorrow until I realized that it was actually today. Hopefully she'll come visit again soon--this time my internet is up and running and I'll actually make it.
How fun to finally meet Lisa! I loved Mr. T's picture.
you sure know how to make a girl jealous. Wish I were there enjoying a little Fun with you girls.
i had so much fun. lisa is awesome!
I was seriously bummed that I couldn't be there! I'm glad that you guys had so much fun. Lisa has an accent? Really? I'll have to pay closer attention to her voice. Lisa's pretty laid back and rolls with crazy life really easily. (I love that about her!)
I would love to meet bloggers in person. However, I would be nervous about it. Mainly because we know so much about eachother but haven't spoken in person. Then there's all the expectations - maybe they won't like me as much in person as on my blog. yada yada yada.
Anyway, Lisa's amazing and I'm so glad you guys were able to meet! Yeah!
I'm back in town! That's too funny that you think I have an accent. I've heard it before but I'm not sure where I get it. I'm originally from Gilbert, AZ!! We moved when I was little and I've been in TX most of my life. I wasn't nervous, maybe a little overwhelmed. 3 to 1...8 to 1 if you count the kids. I am pretty laid back like Laurie said though. Maybe if I hadn't been traveling since 6 AM or been screwed by the rental car place I would have been more boisterous ;)
I had a great time! I'm will go and post about it right now!!
