I went to the vintage Junque Fair this morning!
I was super exctied about the Vintage Junque Fair! until my alarm went off at 6:45! OY Vey! i got up anyway, threw on some clothes and took off for the Fair! YAY! i knew i was there when i found a long line of cars parked in the Mesa historic district!
As soon as i got there i saw a blogger! Cami had some dang cute binky holders, makes me wish i had a binky using baby! there was totally the cutest baby stuff there and I don't have a baby, i could resist lots of the boy stuff, but the girl stuff makes me baby hungry again! Yikes! i'd love to have a baby girl and have the pleasure of purchasing the dang cutest baby stuff ! big flower bows, and cute blankets and burp clothes! yeah i passed most of it by, since it isn't in my scope of purchasing right now. good thing, 'cuz I'd go broke.
then I saw Onehm and i met Michelle! and I bought this fabulous Halloween necklace! YAY!

and then i found some fabulous Milk glass there was a lace edge footed bowl, and a taller footed compote and heavenly day, a fantastic set of hobnail pots a small one and a bigger one! whoohoo and let me tell you they were one and two dollars! i asked about the first one, and she told me it was OnE dollar! HELLO! give me all of those! for a grand total of 6 bucks! I know! love it!
and then i looked around a little longer and then left.
i spotted Jill talking to someone but for some reason i felt intimidated by all the cool people there. silly I know but they are all so
"vintage chic", funky and cool.
which i am none of!
i know! i am an adult, i shouldn't care, but yeah i am still insecure, and yes i read their blogs, and feel like i know them but they just might not know me. so i bought my stuff and bailed.
THEN...
I got home and sat in the drive-way for like 10 minutes!
and decided i need the chicken shaped egg basket i saw there for $6 dollars and hoped the shabby wire basket was still there. It was worth a shot! so i rushed back to the fair!
when i got to the spot i had seen the wire basket, it wasn't where i had seen it! (sad) and my heart sunk and the dread of missing out on a fabulous basket i had already pictured for holding fruit or mail was gone! Then, the heavens parted and i saw the light! the light was shining on my basket hiding, in the back to the side, I asked if it had been sold and it hadn't, so i bought it too! heavenly day fantastic! whoohoo!
a great day already!

HOW FUN! I've never been there. Sounds like a totally neat place w/ tons of awesome stuff to choose from! I want to see the pictures of your other items, they sound so cute!
I love stuff like that. There is a place here called Garnder Village. I bit pricey, but fun to shop. Sounds like you had fun wish I could have been there. Lets plan on lunch in 2 weeks when I'm visiting. Can't wait to see your naughty body:)
It was soooo fun to meet you! I was hoping that you would be there! Let's for sure go to lunch! It sounds like you found some wonderful things!!! I too was wanting some of that baby stuff! I just don't have anyone young enough anymore! :( With the round of nausea I have had the past few weeks, I think I am reminded I am totally done with babies. Unless someone wants to be kind enough to hand one to me! :) I hope your having a happy afternoon!
I am soooo sad that I missed it! I wanted to go but Tom has been gone and I thought I should stay home and be with him. Bummer! Lets all go in six months when the do it again! Will they do it again???? Anyway, glad you got some goddies. I'll me savingup for the next fair for sure.
Totally LOL about you turning around and driving back to get the stuff you decided you wanted. That's really something my sister or I would do, and have done before!! I want a cute Halloween necklace!
It was so fun to see you there, and I love that you got that necklace from michelle. That was one of my favorites!!!
And I totally saw that milkglass and wanted it and didn't get it, so I'm glad you did...

I am so sad I didn't get to go since we were in Pinetop! Can't they plan that thing around my vacations damn them! Just kidding. I know some of the girls who were putting that on and they are awesome, but still damn them. Just kidding...maybe..so sad, can you tell?
