monday afternoon! nerd trick tutorial after comment replies

texas sheet cake recipe? yeah i don;t bake and i don;t know where my family cook book is with the recipe but maybe hot mama can hook you up! she keeps hers handy. and as a matter of principal i have never posted a recipe just because then it would appear like i cook which i have the ability but i don't do it. and i like to avoid the appearance of evil? totally hot mama is the sister for you.

as far as my books go i am reading Dragonfly in Amber i am on page 515 out of 743. they just fought the first battle in the war. and she just found out Jamie was injured. seriously this is bumming me out. second books in series always kill me just because it is generally just to move the story along, and it often isn't an easy, happy story line. lots of conflict. i hate conflict. even in books.

I'd love to read more now or tonight but we are going to family night! we are not going to the park so any hope of crashing our fun at the park would be a disappointment to you but I'll be sure to take pictures and blog about the really fun patriotic thing we are doing instead! and there will be no Texas sheet cake. sad i know! we will be having twinkies and zingers from the hostess store. yup! i bought the treats! that's how I roll!

and the trick to make the dang cute hearts? you could have gooogled it people! google is your friend! but her you go. there is more than one way. first try &heart; the ampersand sign spell out heart and then semi-colin with no spaces. it also worked with diamond,club, spade, ⋄ but i don't think this works for me but i use firefox not internet explorer. the other tricky way is to hit the alt key and 3 at the same time. ♥ but on my laptop i had to push the num lock key and use the number key pad so you have to use the small keyboard (ten key) not the regular 3 at the top. dude i don't know . anyway try it yourself and see what works for you!

to do the slash out words like this
you have to type with no spaces the <> before the word you want slashed then you have to follow it with < / s > no spaces between the arrows and the s. you can also make word bold by putting B in, or italic by doing an I .
