the scoop on my ...................
stuff!
i totally wanted to put poop, since it rhymes but i refrained.
Joy's Mole came back normal . great! -lance came and sat with the other kids in the van while i took her in and got her stitches removed. and got the results, including my own copy of the pathology report. then he took them home in the van , while i went to my appointment on my own in the car.
I almost got hit from behind on the freeway. the truck behind me couldn't stop in time, so he came up next to me fast. way far up next to me. I would've hated to have been nailed. i saw it happen in my mirror. traffic was bad!
my ultrasound? ahhhhhhhhh what can i say? i have no actual results until i go in on the 11th. i saw something on the left side that she measured, and marked but she didn't go into an explanation. so we'll see what she tells me on the 11th.
Bunko was great! good food, fun conversation. gift card to bath and body works for my prize. oh and i traded purses with Laura. she had been coveting my green purse for the last few months. so tonight we traded, she had been offering to buy mine, but i hadn't gotten a new one yet, so i said well I'll trade you so we did. it wasn't a pretty sight. i had a rubber ducky. and assorted other treasures in there. mini story books, bib,a mangled diaper, 2 band-aids, 2 combs, 4 sharpie markers, my camera, my book, some pens, my wallet, liberty's wallet, a baggie full of change from one of the kids including a dreidel . a box of wipes, 4 packs of fruit snacks, 2 different hair pomades, seriously loads of stuff, she went home with an empty bag, i couldn't even fit all my crap in my new traded one. but it was so cute, I'll just have to eliminate some of the unnecessary stuff. we took pictures. i did not look cute in them, i looked like a goober! but i went straight there after my long day! how hot was i supposed to look? after 10 on this kind of day? EDITED! a picture of the crap in my purse nice huh?
- so i got home after 12:30 and i need to go to walmart. for cat food ,and bread, and milk, but i really don't want to. i haven't gotten to read up on anyone's fun today. serious blog withdrawals.
- oh and i didn't get any action shots of our zoo hike as you can see we we took our sweet time. and took lots of pictures. but man when we were hoofin' it uphill, taking a picture was that last thing we thought of, with the steep verticle incline, pushing 70 lbs of kid and strollers. plus who really wants an action shot of my back side? not I! and really we thought about the action shots after we were already to the top and out of breath, it just wasn't meant to be.
and today i am listing the blessing as they were apparent to me.
- Joy's mole came back fine
- my dr. found nothing hugely wrong on ultrasound yet
- the person behind me was paying attention enough to not hit me. when traffic stopped. on the crappy and very busy 101 during Friday rush hour!
- Lance was excused from Jury duty along with everyone else called for today. just so he could help me out with the kids this afternoon late.
- Lance got his first paycheck with the new company! yay! steady money coming in again!
- fun time at bunko. and a new purse to boot! BONUS!

LOL, I get on and read about the zoo, click away for a second and here is another post! Joy, 2 post in just a couple of minutes (for me anyways). Glad you had fun tonight, love your new purse!
What are we doing up so late!?! I think we have a problem. Maybe we need a 12-step program. Hey, we could have meetings, take notes and pictures, and blog them...
i love it when people stop to count their blessings b/c it makes me stop and do the same thing!!
excellent news on joy's mole!!
That's too funny that you and Laura traded purses. I wish I could've been at bunko. Scary freeway thing! Glad you were blessed in many ways.
Can't wait to see the new purse! And I am so glad that you weren't hit!
So great news about Joy's mole...now we wait to hear about your US.
Never a dull moment for you!! You can't even relax in rush hour traffic just sitting by yourself. I am so happy that Joy's test were ok and you did not get hit. Good reminder to me to count my blessings. Way to go walking the zoo in the heat.Looks like you had a great time:):)
Don't worry about the ultrasound-I know it's hard not to, but just chill until the 11th-then you'll hear that all is well. That's funny about the same blog name. I tried using the sweet land saying for my blog address but it was already taken. Ha! Have a fun one!

I hate doctor visits and you've had your fair share lately! I love stopping and thinking about all my blessings it helps me to remember how much harder life could really be!
Gotta love those close calls..for me it's usually me coming close to hitting someone..alright maybe once or twice! :) Glad you were not hit..and your results came back good!!!
Yeah Bunko was alot of fun...it's always fun to see you guys since it only seems to be at Bunko...score on the purse thing too... :)
The green purse is so cute...I can see why she was coveting it!? I can't wait to see your new purse! I think trading purses is a fun/great idea!!
Ok...I just scrolled up and saw the picture of all the stuff from your purse! That is great! I don't even think Mary Poppins had all of that in her bag! Ü
Your old purse was very cute - I would have wanted it too - and the stuff in your purse - I think i have the same shampoo/lotion from the Dr!
Glad to hear you didn't get hit from behind - that is so scary to see and know you cannot do anything about it!
The pix of the zoo are very fun! Glad to hear medically things are A OK too!
Your purse cracks me up! I have the same thing going on in my purse. I'll dump it out and just start grabbing only the things I need/want in there and then have a huge pile left over. And within just a few days it starts to fill up again!
The zoo looked like fun and that picture of you with your kiddos is so cute! Also, I love the idea of switching purses. We need to do that at Bunko next month.
Heya...I gotta say I enjoy your blog! It's nice to find people who I have things in common with.
So I was reading this post and had to click on the picture to check out the green purse and couldn't believe that the friend of yours in the pic was a friend of mine that I grew up with. She and I grew up going to the same church and spent grades K-4th in the same class! Apparently (from what I've learned from her blog now) we had a crush on the same boy! Crazy stuff! What a small blog world it is!
