Seriously? i thought we were white trash but where did the shopping cart come from?

ok so last night Lance and I got back from our date after midnight, with Pierce and we unload the car of its rider and the stuff we got on our date! ( we went shopping! yay! he hates to go shopping but some how it worked out.) anyway I'm walking through the gate and turn to see this? How did this get here? we were gone all evening? i can assume our neighbors went to fry's, brought a cart home and hid it behind OUR garbage cans. since we have them lined up along our drive way, ( I told you we are white trash) and they hid it there for the evening. they better freaking make the effort to take it back. since i didn't score that beauty I'm not taking care of it. although how fun would that be to keep in the back yard? to play with, give rides in, load and unload groceries to and from the car?

here is this morning!

Lance called the number on the cart and someone will come pick it up in 2-4 days.
ok but how RAD would it be if i carried that sucker in my van? and pulled it out when i went to the store, whenever there was a cart shortage! Sweet! but putting it back in would be a pain in the rear!

That is sooooo funny! I'm totally laughing! I can only imagine the story that cart can tell!
And I would love to see you pull it out at the store "bringing your own cart" and then loading it back up.
Totally sweet.

I am busting up about you putting that thing in the back of your van...though that is pretty irritating when stores run out of carts. WAL-MART in particular! Gosh I hate that store! You are tOo funny Jules!

That's too funny. And you can bet your neighbor won't be returning it. Do you have a guess which neighbor it was? That would be totally fun for your kids to play with. I would've loved it when we were playing grocery store in my parents' food storage in the basement!

That is AWESOME! (Well, it's not awesome that YOU had to be the one to make the responsible phone call to get it taken care of), but it is awesome to think about utilizing that cart to its full potential! It's like a master stroller. You could probably fit all of your kids in there and go on a family walk!

This has me laughing! My kids would be all over the neighborhood playing in it. Then I would probably be turned in to the Cart Police! :)

That would be hilarious to see you whip that thing out of your van. Then you'd have to say to all the people that see you do it, "Did you bring your cart? You know they charge you now if you don't have your own." Let them wonder.

FUNNY! One year my friends and I picked up all the Christmas trees from the curbs and left them on peoples' doorsteps ... your shopping cart reminded me of that giddy night.
