a mothers monday
- Pierce is sick again. the runs! lots of poopy diapers, yay!
- Liberty threw a fit today about what she was going to wear to school-it has been a long time since she has done this
- Paxton wanted a bath before school and we were running late, no time for a bath!" you have to wait 'til after school bud!"
- Peyton got dressed fast and then piddled around taking his meds and kept wanting to leave the others home since he was done getting ready first.
- Hope wasn't quite ready when the bus came, i still had to put her ponytail in, and her bow, and i tried to put her on the bus with out her bag, and she was having none of that nonsense.and i had to run get her bag. the bus could wait a minute right?
- Lance decided today he would cook eggs fore breakfast. so we were running late and then he cooked instead of helped get people dressed and shoes found. his theory they were already late might as well be 15 minutes late and fed rather then 5 minutes late and hungry. whatever! fine by me. the kids were happy.
- Joy couldn't find any of her shoes. only one black boot and it looked stupid with her black gauchos, so i found her purple crocs, and they didn't match her red shirt but it was better than just one boot.
- Liberty got her hair done, and we were running late, so i thought I'd save time and not bother with her bow. she said ."don't I get a bow?" I said yep and found some ribbon to tie onto her ponytail. gotta go with it while she still wants one.
- everyone needed their papers; signed and stuff in their backpacks cleaned out this morning! "come on people! after school is the time for that!"
- i was glad when Pierce was ready for his nap.
- i got to check emails, and read my book!
I am so happy it is Monday once the kids are out the door to school! this is my weekend!

WoW, what an eventful day!! Glad you got some time to yourself to read your book.. Hope Pierce gets feeling better!! :0)
That sounds like my mornings everyday. My girls are ALWAYS running late. Forunately they've only had to get tardy slips about 5 times so far.
My 6 year old always waits til we're walking out the door to worry about putting shoes on so we are usually looking for them when the first bell is ringing.
I often get onto my husband cuz he seems to have all this time to sit around watching ESPN in the mornings while I'm stressing over trying to get the girls fed and their lunches made plus get their hair brushed and fixed in time.
Hope your baby feels better soon.
when does life slow down?? in response to your comment ... I usually don't get too excited about running into people at the grocery store either, but since we had been at the dental school earlier & I knew joel would want to show off his kids, I made sure everyone looked somewhat decent, so it was ok this time ;)
YEAH COMMENTS ARE BACK!! Just checking in again. So, I am suppose to be on a plane right now and instead I am checking your blog from Hong Kong! How do you feel about that? Changed my flight to Saturday!! LOVING THE 5 MORE DAYS HERE!!!
Hope Tuesday goes more smoothly for you!!
I totally understand. We have had those mornings! I hate them. When I finally push them out the front door & tell them to go go go as fast as you can, then I can finally say "WHEW! They're gone." Then I can finally start my day.
Felicia woke me up at 8am this morning. Yikes! We had to run around crazy. Nathaniel even said that he was getting used to not having school from the long weekend. ha ha. Ben had to throw their bikes into the back of his truck & drop them off at school. I guess the bell was ringing when he drove away. Ooops!
Hope tomorrow is better for you!
sounds like my house....
everyone slept in today. the bus comes at 7:45 and I got up and everyone else up at 7:30. Lost one shoe, but found it on time and they made there bus!
I hate mornings!
oh I forgot, my youngest threw up at school, and my van died today. I paniced and had to call my neighbor to pick her up!
I hope your baby gets better soon!
What a morning! A little time to your self is always a good thing...and always needed! Glad you were able to read your book...what "cha reading?
I am so glad that you are allowing comments again!! I love reading all the wild stuff that goes on at your house and I especially that it goes on at ours too!
Motherhood is a universal language!
I slept in. The kids got themselves ready and fed Buzz. When Bitty Baby woke me at 8:00, Buzz was quietly sitting and watching SpyKids.
Nope. I didn't make this up. Once-in-a-lifetime experience.
ya when the kids are out the door and the little one is napping that is heaven on earth :)
