Peyton's Birthday
i was at a complete and total loss as to what to purchase for my 9 year old. i wandered around costco. and could find the perfect gift for any other kid , except the birthday boy. then i went to target with my limited time yesterday. and couldn't find the Wii Pokemon game i was looking for, and just decided to grab Guitar hero for him. He was pretty thrilled but this kid is all about quantity not quality for birthday gifts. which i knew but really i have issue with buying a bunch of small crap he doens't need to make him feel like he had a successful birthday. if i had time i would have gotten some filler gifts but i didn't so he didn't get any. he got a basket ball too. but only 2 gifts? yeah.
about the game . totally wireless and cool for the Wii. i thought i was doing fairly well until Lance cane in a beat the song i had been working on for over an hour and hadn't finished. but he played it once and beat it and the next song and the next. i was peeved. he doesn't get why. because i suck and he doesn't that is why! and i also figured out I'd rather sing along to social distortion than try to play it. that and my hand eye coordination is off. it wasn't always. i am blaming it on low thyroid levels. if it can effect my thinking and my spelling it can effect my video game playing skills too.
fun for the whole family.

Sometimes I do the same thing...find lots of fun stuff for everyone BUT the person I'm shopping for. Sounds like you did good! I haven't played the game yet, but sounds totally fun!
My husband really wants that game!
I can totally relate to the wanting lots - but I want quantity and quality!
