today Lance emailed me about the company Christmas party?! we are flying to Portland. whooohoo! i don't travel mostly because of funds but it is on their tab. whoohoo! my mom already said she'd keep the herd. i am really excited and now wondering what i am gonna wear!

I am super thankful to my mom for keeping the kids last night, Lance was gone and i Had bunko! So i was super thrilled and grate4ful to her for watching all the kids. the 5 bigger ones spent the night and i picked up Pierce at 11. i got up at 7am and went over to get them ready and they were all dressed and ready to go. we got home and they walked to school. pretty fab. it was too early to drop them off. that is amazing in and of itself. Early!

Peyton has had lunch Detention yesterday and today. for getting in a fight. love that. not really i hate when they call to say someone did something. which seems to be once a week. my kids? OY VEY! but they know not to complain about the consequences. and i figure hey i wasn't there i couldn't have done anything about it. their agency. gotta let them deal on their own. not that I am not embarrassed by their actions but i wasn't there was I .

Um, Lance is out of town this week. traveling for work. it just isn't the same with him gone. i'm glad this isn't a recurring thing. i don't know how the moms do it with hubby's that work out of town all the time.

I am reading These Is My Words by Nancy Turner I'll be done today. seriously loving it. but the lack of puncutaion is kind of interesting witht the whole she said [,"________."] missing but makes me think Hmm i could totally write a book like this with my lack of typing, punctuation skills and my poor grammar .

the other day joy got home from school and was telling my mom that the boys weren't there to pick her up and she was one of the last there. and the teachers were discussing what to do with her, and the she said ," they Peyton finally arrived!" she's 5 and says words like arrived. funny

and ultimate cut down? "you are a bum" or "you are ugly" she was just calling Pierce a bum because he made her mad. which doesn't seem to take much. i think she is kind of PMS-ing.
and yesterday she was talking about something i couldn't quite understand with her speech delay. she kept pointing at things like her eyes or her outfit, finally i caught on and she was saying "my fabulous eyes, and my fabulous shirt. you are fabulous, i am fabulous!" i sounded like fab-lus . wonder where she gets that phrase? oh and the most insulting thing you can say to this little girl? you are ugly! Joy says it , they are all sorts of competitive, and Hope will just bawl, and they go back and forth saying "you're ugly, no you're ugly! " haha girls. are so funny!
