what really happened here ?
- i have washed two loads of dishes. (we have a ton of cups always)
- showered 1 of 2 times. got dressed
- done some laundry
- fold a mega pile of towels.
- cleaned the counters.
- gone to the water store.
- got ice cream Thrifty's yum! and ate it !:)
- got pizza for lunch and fed the fam
- cleaned up after lunch
- showered 2 of 2 times , i was cold.
- changed the bedding on the crib for Pierce. he woke up crusted with vomit. yum!
- organize the linen closet and put away towels
- I stripped and washed Pierces bedding again because he chucked during his nap.
- sink bath for that kid
- re made Pierce's bed . UGH!
- picked up trash out back
- picked up all the old funky oranges under the tree out back.(while lance mowed)
- Picked off all the rest of the old dried up nasty oranges off the tree. does anyone know anything about pruning citrus? when? how much?
- cleaned off my desk-really just threw away a mountain of paperwork from school
tonight me and my boys danced to you tube videos from they might be giants songs. and then tried to go to Bass Pro shop to look at the dead animals. when we got there. the whole lot and shopping center was pitch dark, with only emergency lights on. we realized on the way home even the freeway lights were off.
so we headed to Golden Spoon for frozen yogurt, well that didn't happen because while we where discussing the long line inside,
Pierce puked again in the CAR. YEAH! so we headed home and gave him another sink bath and cleaned him up then put that kid in bed. the boys are just hanging out. we'll have to do these things another night. so super fun Saturday. i am dying to see Juno and 27 dresses and am almost tempted to just go alone. i really need a night out.
so i didn't get everything i wanted to done. i still need to change sheets. and hit Fry's . and get ready for tomorrow. i killed my great plans with yard work. and my lame kids wouldn't help. they all wanted to know how much I'd pay them, and want good money like 10 bucks. Joy was throwing out the amount $58 . freaking turkey! what happened to helping because we are all part of a family? maybe i should yell more. or take away privileges. i just told them i don't get paid to do this crap and i don't think it's fun but i do it anyway. and they should too. they just looked strangely at me and walked away.
sometimes being the mom stinks.
what glamorous things did you do with your Saturday?
do kids you know ask "how much?" before they do something for you??
do you like your job?
do you know anything about pruning citrus trees? can you share the knowledge with me?
wanna go out with me?right now! to a movie?even better your treat?
hahaha COL(cackle out loud) i laugh like that because i am on my way to the loony bin! anyone wanna hitch a ride?

YAY!!! You accomplished a LOT today! You ROCK!! and all that barf - poor Pierce & YOU who has to clean it up! Our job never ends! Can't go out tonight - having the WORST DAY EVER!! but I totally want to see 27 dresses!!! I will go with you!
Hope Pierce feels better tomorrow!
I don't know how you do it... AMAZING!! I have a hard time cleaning up after one baby and a husband. Good job on getting so much done.
How much--- Thats too funny!
You were productive today. I'm impressed. I've had a sick baby today also and I wasn't very productive. I did manage my weekly trip to costco and I did get to go to the urgent care. My sink stinks so I guess dishes have to be done before I go to bed. Yeah!
Thrifty Ice Cream! That brings back a lot of memories. We had a Thrifty store down the street from us when we were growing up and we would go there after Family Home Evening for our treat. Do they still use the weird shaped ice cream scooper and it was so cheap??? YUM!!!
Wish I wasn't at the theatre tonight - I TOTALLY would've gone and even treated! We've already discussed how often I get to go to the movies.
Hope your night improved!!

Orange Tree Pruning! HTH
Great minds (or should I say disturbed minds?) think alike!! I went to the movies by myself last night. It was THE most glorius thing EVER! BY MYSELF.
You deserve a break!
Yes being the mom stinks. My kids used to be that way. Then I stopped it. We sat them down during a FHE and helped them figure out that since we have WAYYY many more kids than the 1-2 kids each of our neighbors have, that we have more things to do around the house. And it takes ALL of us helping, including the twins, to keep the house running. Then we decided to put them on an allowance. Not for chores, but just because they needed spending money and the Bank of Mom and Dad were on a budget. So Olivia gets $1, Emma $2 and Joseph gets $3. This is 2 times a month. Then they each have one chore a day to do, plus their rooms. And two chores on Saturday. MY CHOICE. HEHE. HTH!! It will take them a while to realize that mom and dad simply CANNOT do everything when you have such a large family!!
Wow, you got a lot accomplished! Wanna come over and help me out? Hope isn't quite old enough to shake us down yet, I'm not looking forward to when she is, I can barely get her to do anything now.
I hope Pierce feels better soon!
Sounds like you got a lot done.. Saturday has turned into the only day to get anything done for me.. I hope Pierce gets feeling better. Throwing up babies are no fun!!
We just saw 27 dresses last night at the drive ins.. It was a really cute movie.. :0)
Julie:
Saw 27 dresses last night..Cute movie. I would probably see it again if I can sneak away.
My kids also want to know "what's in it for them" when I ask them to help UGH! I did get them to help paint the wood outside on our fence posts yesturday. The project that took me forever when I did it by myself only took about an hour with everyone helping. Hardly any moaning with that one because they got to blast the Jonas Brothers out the window while we painted. :)
I hope Pearce gets feeling better!

If I lived near you we could really rip up the town together.
You sound like you are having good times over at your house. I am especially jealous are the bark in the car. That totally beats spilled rancind milk smell in my car!!
also hoping to see 27 Dresses SOON, but will probably have to wait for the DVD
Oh no, more puking. I am beginning to wonder if the stomach flu is contagious through the internet. If so I am in BIG trouble:) Hope cutie-pir Pierce gets better soon and that Mama gets a much needed break! If only I lived close enough to hang out:( I would love to see Juno!
Haha... You rock! You are what SAHM's are all about. You crack me up. I put your blog on my faves list and visit regularly. Thanks for being so real. And what a cute family! I am from Idaho, but I served my mission in Phoenix and got to serve in Mesa too because I was a signing sister. Got to hang out at the beautiful temple in 70 degree weather at Christmas!! I'm jealous of your temps right now!! It snowed here today. :( Oh, both my sisters had cancer on their thyroid. One sis will have radiation as soon as her baby is born. I get checked regularly, so far so good! Anyway, love your blog!! -Ang
I think you should pay the kids all the money they want, then charge them the same for room and board. Puke duty is the worse! Juno is really funny, and I want to see 27 Dresses. I'm not sure Travis wants too. That's when he's grateful I have girlfriends. It's probably how I feel about him having friends to golf with. Let's plan another movie night.
We cleaned ALL DAY. Literally. The only time I wasn't cleaning I was scrapping my blessing for today.
Hope Pierce is better!!
k i will totally go see either one of those movies with you. this weekend for sure!! i pay my kids $1but that is only sometimes.
sat. i cleaned my whole room and got 3 more boxes unpacked. and tonight i am gonna finish samantha's room if it kills me. maybe i will take pictures.
Sounds like that was a day! My kids don't get paid and they know better than to ask... they get paid to work at Grandma's! We tell them if they have a brain fart and do ask for $$ that they get paid daily: food to eat, shelter for the elements, clothes to wear. They don't like it but they get to work for fear they might get more chores! Good luck!
