a little funny? and contest details. playlist discussion. aka Random crap.

the contest details first. in case you don't read all the way to the end. i am ending commenting at midnight AZ time. so far there are 341. and i actually tallied who commented how many times. you wanna know? it is in the comments # 303.
but take into account that Melissa at Hope for the Hopeless did 20 something more after that. for a total of 53. (plus more since i started this post)

yeah stiff competition. we are at 341. so tonight at midnight my time I'm cutting the commenting off. MIDNIGHT AZ TIME that is mountain standard people.
and tomorrow morning i'll post the winner. very exciting stuff here. i am sure.

on to the funny?

last night we were on our way to dinner. with our fave family members.

so we were driving down the road and an old antique shop i love love is for sale. well it is a house in front with shop in back . anyway. love the old looking house. and so i saw it and mentioned it to Lance. and Joy is riding on the front bench in the van listening in. (totally the reason i like to banish people to the second bench or better yet to the way back! so we can converse without little ears.) anyway, i mention the house slash shop for sale and Joy chimes in. "We should buy it and you could live there alone , you know, away from yelling kids and dad. so you could nap and it would stay clean". Or the kids could live in one house and you and dad in the other , i'm sure thinking so they could live like the pigs that they are and do whatever they want. and never have to clean or get yelled at to clean.

she is a silly kid. and she sees nothing wrong with that arrangement.

this is the kid that figured out and told us that if Lance and I both married other people she could have 2 moms and 2 dads. and thought that was the best plan ever. seriously this kid is always thinking. and then she shares. sometimes it is all i can do to hide the smile.

last night i struggled to keep in the cackle. freaking hilarious!

the playlist sidenote: i added some of the best movie love songs to the playlist. but now you hafta click on it so check those out. Unchained melody- righteous brothers version. Bryan Adams- Everything i do for you -the song from Robin hood. Barney -i love you! yeah well it was funny, and i am so tricky i put it on the kids and Lance's playlists too! ha! i am hilarious. be glad i am not in charge of your playlist.

i added some fun kid songs like apples and banana's(short version) and 18 wheels on a big rig.
and the funny part about that IS Pierce's middle name was almost Eighteen . that is correct! do you know my last name? if you do it is too funny huh?(if you don't email me and you'll know ) and then instead of making his initials spell out P.E.W. we were gonna go with roman numerals for 18 which is XVIII. pronounced skvii -(sss -ka -v-i) truth! so that is where that song is coming from. and when we figured out he was going to make our family even with 3 boys and 3 girls? we went with Brady for his middle name you know! the Brady bunch! yes, we are dorks. and for number 8 if is a boy we'll go with Bradford for the middle name are you old enough to know why? HELLO- Eight is Enough! totally! did i just date myself? i only ever saw that on re-runs though. never first run. so there.

and the first song L-O-V-E by Frank Sinatra? my girls are learning that at singing group and it is dang cute. Joy called my mom the other day and sang to her on the message for like 10 minutes that song over and over. it was so cute. she loves my mom. so i thought that fit great too.

Crazy in love? hello it's on Karaoke revolution! and really watching Pierce dance to that , just makes my day. too cute.

and no crazymama song list is complete without B-52's Love Shack! hope it lasts awhile it usually doesn't work after a week or two.

and i added some Regina Spector thanks for telling me about her site Jill (long time no chat) . i am now addicted. and i added a few of my faves.

and i admit i am a Flogging Molly fan. so i put one of those on too.

are you a nerd? check out Technologic from Daft punk. i was digging it yesterday.

and a Mary Poppins diddy too. spoon full of sugar this time. i was bummed i couldn't find i love to laugh again. (sniff)

and Hey Ya by Outcast- love it. totally the Chorus for me. i love to sing along. and mosly have songs i can sing along to. and dance too. i am a winner fo sho!

ok well i am gonna go clear the table of all the funkalicious cereal , seriously the #1 time of day i hate my life. soggy cereal makes me gag. milk slime does too. and six bowls ewww. we barely ahve time to feed them no time to clear the table on their own. leaving it to moi! lucky me. OY!

so are you in the contest?

are you dying to win?

do your kids say funny stuff?

how do you hide the fact you are laughing at what they are saying in all seriousness?

have a fabulous day.

magic recipe? way fun by the way.

The things that little one thinks of AMAZE me!! FUNNY! FUNNY!!

I would love to win but just can't find the time like some of these gals and comment over and over. Guess I'll suffice not to win or hope a random number is in my favor.:)

♥ That's a lot comments! Love the idea of having a house for kids and one for parents! The kids house would have to be completely empty and they'd have to be locked in but that would save me money in the long run! I think Joe is on to something! :)

I love the things she comes up with! I would love to own that little store, too. And I think I may have even seen the orginals of Eight is Enough. How old am I?

I just love that you have so much to say. I tend to talk to long on the phone to my friends and well I am sure they think can't you just blog this. Hillarious little imagination that girl of yours has. I was cackling. If only we had such seemingly easy solutions to life's dilemas!

Oh man... I'd love my own house... but only for a short while. I'd miss everyone too much! I am going to Time Out for Women in Chicago at the end of this month and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Two ENTIRE days to myself with one of my friends. Oh ... HEAVEN!

How do you survive on sooo little sleep girl? I'd be the BIGGEST biotch on the planet with less then 8 hrs a night. maybe that is why I never get anything done!

funny girl....really though, would it be a bad thing sometimes for mommy to have her own house with no kids there to mess it up and free to nap at any time? I think no!

hey, and don't oust me from your side bar! I'm commenting here! I'm not commenting on the game thing because (even though I don't ever win anything) I'd win that one....with 1 comment...and I'd win it because I would have to follow through and post my own, and come up with prizes! Gak, I have too many undone projects around here already, I can't be adding more to my life!

Seriously...did she really suggest that you buy that house and live there alone?? I think I may have taken her up on that. Well maybe for a day or so. She really pays attention doesn't she? I think she is going to be a world changer, she's already thinking of ways to imrpove yours! Too funny.

Love the song list. I was wondering where all the crazy music went. I guess I needed to look a bit harder for it!
