sick kids updated.

Liberty had to go to the DR. she has an ear infection. and i found out today we have a $250 deductible. yuck.

Joy is loving having her first sick day of the year. that's right the FIRST. since august. how did that happen ? i dunno but she thought it was fabulous enough to say so ,"except for the barfing." yeah she said that, probably 5 minutes after puking her guts out. then went out and swung on the swings out back and demanded ramen instead of chicken noodle soup. she can find the silver lining and make the best of anything.

Hope still thinks she likes being sick too.

and Pierce has been pretty good. no more incidences of regurge for him ,and that is good since he hasn't mastered the use of a barf bowl.

2 beds stripped and one finished washing. one on it's way in. and another just because. this is good the sheets needed washed anyway. and there is no question of making the effort if there is vomit on it. have i mentioned i hate changing the sheets on bunk beds? yeah hate it. and i don't love the crib either. but today all the sickos will have clean sheets. whoohoo for that.

I hate changing bunk beds too! Cribs totally suck and today is Monday which is my washing sheet day. I'm behind, usually I have it done by now, but haven't been feeling a 100%. Sorry to hear about all your sickies. That is no fun. The only good thing about barf is that it usually doesn't last longer than 48 hours. Colds seem to last for weeks. Hopefully all will be well in your household soon.

Poor Liberty, I hope she feels better soon! And yea, on the clean sheets!

Sometimes it takes a catastrophe for me to get the sheets clean too. Just seems like so much work when you have a 6 man fam!

Glad everyone is doing better!

That totally sucks! I hate having sick kids! And especially when they aren't big enough to master the sick bowl yet....yuck! Hope things get better at your house! Oh, since I rarely blog anymore I wanted you to know that I finally did a post (no pics as my computer is being worked on right now) but it's a post that I think you would enjoy and maybe make you smile! Anyhow, hope things get better....thinking of you! :)

I also hate to change the sheets on bunk beds..I now make my 9 year old do it but half the time it doesn't get done..so its his own fault if he has to sleep on a bare mattress..right?

Hope your kiddos feel better soon.!

Way to look on the bright side of such a not so rosy situation. I can not stand changing crib sheets and have had up to three cribs up and in use at the same time before. I hated it. Smiley thinks it's funny to pull his sheets of a corner at a time if he gets bored in his bed. Come On...little man just scream a little I will be happy to take you out of your bed just to not have to remake it daily or twice daily! Hope everyone feels better soon!

I hate washing sheets & making bunk beds too! It's the worst, so I have the kids make their own beds, but I'll help if it gets too difficult. I guess you got rid of some germs though. Hopefully they will all recover & you can have some peace (before spring break hits next week & all the kiddies are home)!!

Dude, that's so how I work too. I never wash sheets unless someone pees or barfs on them. It's actually fairly gross since my 12 year old doesn't pee or ever get sick (you'd think with how little his sheets get washed, he'd be sick constantly.) I hope they are better so soon, Julia!

♥ The worst part of puking anywhere but the toilet or a bowl.......... Having to rinse all the chunks out of the bedding! blech... I feel really bad for you!!! Having sick kids sucks! Here's hoping it doesn't last very long!

I hope things start looking up at your house....it stinks when the kiddos are sick. And even though you got all the sheets washed and made up, it stinks for us mommies to have to be FORCED into productivity instead of doing what we want to! ;)

Poor Liberty- that stinks! I'm amazed that Joy was outside playing right after barfing. Sounds like she has the perfect name! Good luck with the sick kiddos.
