FABULOUS FRIDAY!
so the giveaway deadline is OVER! i'll shut that down pronto.
this morning? in the wee hours, i was at Lindsey's bead party, making the most fabulous necklace for myself for Mother's day. WHOOHOO, pictures coming SOON.
then this morning the annual 3rd grade egg nest drop. it was a delight i must say. i took pictures of my kid, DID his egg SURVIVE ? OR NOT?!
you'll have to wait for the video to see. and i'll tell you what i constructed it out of.
and i snatched pictures of some kids i know whose mom's weren't there. i got ya covered(ONEHM, JANEEN,KIMM) . not promising quality but it's better than nothing right? i tried. that's all i'm saying.
and did i mention my fabulous necklace? seriously i'm gonna let Lance wrap it. and i could crap i don't wanna take it off.
and have you ever had the guy at sonic tell you there is no DR. PEPPER just to see how you react? seriously you know you go too often when they feel like playing jokes on you because they know which drink is yours. sheesh.
and there was a sit down with the principal today. 40 % tardy rate. I rock SUCK! mother of the year right here folks no doubt about it.
she asked the kids why yesterday. they blamed it on me. today i reminded them that wandering around, having fits about socks, or hair , or losing shoes, is the main problem. that and i should get up earlier. not that me getting up earlier makes a difference. they always piddley fart around. and me getting up earlier just gives them the feeling they can piddle around more. ahhhh and it was discussed now, so next year we can do better. we also discussed placement for next year. so i was feeling fab about it. since i spaced giving parent input at the appropriate time. just another reason why i'm the mother of the year. the crappy kinds, not the fabulous kind.

Well, why don't I just line up for that (wink) MOTHER OF THE YEAR award, because my kids have something like a 70% tardy rate. It's not official, but that's my guess.

LOL at the Sonic guy. I bet you were panicked for a minute. Can't wait to see your necklace. I'm sorry I had to miss the party and seeing everyone. I had a little thing called HFPE that I had to go to, you know, since I was in charge of it and all.
i am so glad you came last night! it was sooo much fun. i really appreciate you making the drive plus your necklace is FABULOUS!!! an everday treasure! i expect to see you wearing everytime i see you ;)
oh ya my kids had after school detention 4 times because of their mother, ya it is never their fault!! thank goodness they ride their bikes
LOVED seeing you today while we melted watching the egg drop!! Can't wait for the video! I was so surprised how many eggs actually made it! Lots of genius parents, that's how!! ha ha

they should tell moms an hour earlier than necessary--Sophie and I had a hard time making the 1030 music class on time so I switched to 1130... you guessed it... still REALLY late every time! gay. time is stupid.
don't worry about mother of the year--you still have my vote.

My kids would be late every day if they didn't ride the bus. And I have sent them on the bus with shoes in thier hands more times than I can remember.And at least they get to school. I don't even want to admit how many days I have gone back to sleep after the big kids leave and missed pre-k for the 5 yr old this year. OOPS. oh well. Just FIRE me.
Please please fire me from the mom job. Really can somone please fire me?? I am burned out.
Bummer about the principal, my kids ride the bus, it helps me, even if they miss the bus, I still have a good chance to get them to school on time, seeing how I am aiming for the bus time.

I walked up to the pharmacy today and they knew me without me giving my name...I would rather the Sonic guy knew me.
