I'm a domestic Goddess with 7 kids. ages 14,13,12,10,8,6 and a wild toddler . They make me crazy but what can I do now? I've been rocking this gig for13 years as a senior VP in a non-profit organization.(stay at home mom)
This is where i chronicle my struggles with the daily wonder of MY life. I'm trying to find balance which is NEW for me.
I love to tell it like it is.
be warned there may be cussing, vomit tales and potty talk and if you are lucky , pictures of my c-section.
I had Thyroid Cancer, and the scars to PROVE it!
Thanks for stopping by! disclaimer: there are totally spelling errors, poor punctuation and typos! i can't be bothered with perfection.
I keep it real. hope you can get over it!
I'm glad your mom's replacement went well... Don't beat yourself up too much about an unmopped floor or new walls and floors looking shabby. It's hard to keep things nice esp. when there are young kids involved! I loved having DI furniture, becuase I didn't stress over if the kids were eating on the couch or rough housing on it. Since we bought our new furniture I'm always on edge trying to keep them looking nice. I really get tired of it...wish I had my crappy sofa back for that reason!
my husband just told me about it - we're going to have to check it out - i can probably just get that instead and cancel my gym membership (that I never go to anyway!!)
The title of my blog "Truly Delightful in Every Way!?!" is inspired by the Disney Movie "Mary Poppins" You know the part where she measures the kids and tells them what the tape measure says. Then she measures herself "Practically Perfect in Every Way".
Well 'Truly Delightful in Every Way', is me. I made it up years ago. It Isn't often true anymore, but it can be (with the proper medication) ;)
I started blogging in March 2007 , it's been quite the adventure, but i could never give it up, this is the best therapy I've ever had,( lets be real it's way cheaper than retail therapy), so my hub-tastic lets me continue, (even if he's not my demographic).
