marshmallows are protein.

this morning, i told the kids to have cereal in paper bowls. Peyton got his own, and some for Pierce. the other kids thought that marshmallows in paper bowls melted sounded better. so 4 kids. had bowls of melted ooey gooey goodness for breakfast. Joy was telling Peyton he should have some too. and Peyton says"I'm having cereal, that's a real breakfast" and Joy said , "marshmallows have protein, that's a good breakfast! " i had to correct her thinking there and tell her ,"UMM, Marshmallows are pure sugar. the have NO PROTEIN" as i took a bite of Liberty's bowl. MMM Marshmallows!

What the heck! I thought you had taken a major posting break, but my google reader is just malfunctioning. I am going to have to visit people's real blogs. I come from a family of 11 kids and it is interesting when it comes to leaving behind children. It always seems to be the same one! In our little family (O.K not really so little anymore;) it is the one who is the quietest/spaciest. Don't get me wrong, she is a very smart cookie, but can often be lost in her own little entertaining world. After a while we all learned to speak up, stand out, be pushy, pay attention, or get left behind. Unfortunately, we are now 11 very pushy adults;) Oh, and melted marshmallows are SUPER healthy, but only in the summertime;)

That is so funny! My kiddos have been living on those for the past week. They have been going crazy because it's been a long time since they had protein for breakfast hee hee!

Does this mean that Rice Krispie Treats are full of protein! Yay! They're my favorite! And here I find out that all along they've been good for me! Sweet.

LOL I love Joy! And after posts like this I am sad that she is too old to be at the playdates so I haven't been able to fully appreciate her in forever!!

I love when we get to hear the "kid" conversations that they don't think we are listening too. Kids are so dang funny!

laughing so hard at this since yesterday when I came down my 11 yr old was having marshmellows for breakfast. And he even stuck in a few chocolate chips too. I will have to inform him that I was wrong and indeed marshmellows are a part of a nutritious breakfast afterall.
