why didn't anyone tell me i looked like this today? before i left the house !

can you tell i went to bed with wet hair last night? OH YES! it's nasty. and NO ONE told me! i saw my husband, Lance's uncle tony, Peyton, Liberty, Paxton, Joy, Hope and Pierce. seriously? WTH? i had the pleasure of taking 6 kids to Pierce's 10 minute swim lesson. then i dropped off kids here and there. the big boys and Hope to Maria's house for a play date. and the big girls to my moms, where they were making me surprise birthday necklace, and bracelets for me.
i came home and fed Pierce and put him down for a nap. but i went all over town looking like this! SICK! this was the camera phone picture i took to text Lance, he said he didn't notice. REALLY? EWWW!

During Pierce's naptime I Tackled the cesspool in the basement. SERIOUSLY! i should have called in a HAZMAT team. miracles, and tons of hardcore elbow grease and that sucker is clean.
it was beyond disgusting. i don't go down there, and whenever i do, something is floating. and really WHY CAN'T ANYONE FREAKING FLUSH!?! needless to say it needed a major overhaul.

i spent too much time scrubbing the grout with bleach water and i was breathing it for TOO LONG! and i started feeling totally sick. like i was going to throw up. and my nose and mouth have that too long in the pool flavor/feeling still. i think I'll reconsider using bleach in large amounts from now on. it's a nasty feeling. and when i feel sick i totally start to worry i'll never feel better again. and wonder how long it will last. do you do that? anyway i still feel gross. Lance' was awesome, and i laid down for a long while today. while he did the duty. feeding kids. and even handyman chores. WHOOHOO!

and the cesspool, is now clean, and the door is LOCKED. no one is allowed to use the basement bathroom until after TUESDAY BUNKO! since i don't go down there i don't see it. to keep up with it. i WILL NOT have kids messing it up.

i have loads to do before tuesday. Thursday is the last day of our month long swim lessons. hallelujah. and get this, Pierce still cries the whole time. poor Jennifer putting up with him.

♡ Cleaning the bathroom is such a horrible job... HATE IT!!! I'd lock it up too! I locked my kids toys up in their closet for 4 days once just so their room would stay clean for more than 10 seconds! :)

♡ Oh yeah, if I go to bed with wet hair! I get the same thing and I can't do ANYTHING with it until I wash it again and dry it... :)

that's why i always say long hairs easier. your hair always looks good. i really do like having bunko at my house it's the only time i can get stuff done. i'm sad i think i might be missing bunko i'll let you know.

I think you look great with short hair messy or fixed...I look awfull with short hair, But the advantage of Long hair is the good old pony tail. I have one 24/7. Yes even when I am asleep.

I am envious that you look good with short hair and those sunglasses. I look dumb with the big infasion sunglasses. I have yet to find someone to go with me looking for sunglasses that will be brutely honest and tell me if I really look good or if I look like the dork that I feel.

And I hate going into my kids bathroom and even when it is clean I refuse to use it...3 boys using it...I can't get the pee smell out. I have bleached everything and even have a plug-in and it still smells of urine. Maybe its just my super sonic smelling nose?Ohwell...thats the joys of boys.

Maybe you will single handedly be responsible for starting the "BED HEAD IS IN" look!

He probably didn't want to say anything because he thought you wanted it that way - lol. That would be Luvpilot's excuse anyway.

You have a serious case of bedhead there, girl!!

Good for you for cleaning out the cesspool...would you like to give mine a go? ;)

Kudos on tackling the basement job...uuggghhh and why no one flushes, that's a mystery in and of itself! Have a great day-

Good job at cleaning the bathroom! That isn't my favorite job either! Kind of like laundry. They get dirty as fast as you clean them!

I will give you a call this afternoon. I am determined to have cute toes! :)

Breathing in bleach sounds yucky and probably not too healthy either.

I have to agree I could not live without the pony tail or clip option when I am in a hurry! Messy short hair is in so everyone probably thought you spent time make it look that way.

Sorry you have chemical burns in your nose!! And EVERYONE you came in contact with flunked the friend test!!!!

That is too funny. The hair doesn't look too bad to me but sleeping in wet hair would be a catastrophe for me!

Nice work on the bathroom but I second that you should be extra careful of the bleach!

CRACKING ME UP with the hair!!
Love that Lance didn't notice! Guys...

Bummer on feeling sick...and I need to get Jennifer's phone number from you. My kid's teacher doesn't take kids his age...I would love to get Gigantor in some lessons!!

YAY for Bunko! I'm going through withdrawals! Tell me what I can do to help!! (Just bring a beverage to help you keep moving, maybe??)

And LOL about the hair. I have had similar experiences.

Yuck! That's the way the boy's bathroom gets. Even when the clean it, it's never thorough enough. Every six months I attack it, and hate every minute of it.

What I need to do is train the kids to tell me when my hair is crazy. (Although my daughter probably will be TOO honest.)

Just yesterday, I had to leave before my hair was completely dry, but it looked good when I left the house. Then I looked in the mirror at the movies and almost cried at the frizz!

Isn't that nice of them. TURDS ! Yay on a clean bathroom. I hate to clean them ,but with 5 boys it's a every other day thing. YUCK !!!

Funny Julie!! Seriously, I think that's why I don't have boys. I cannot handle the bathroom thing!!(and the smell)

I'd have to lock my whole house if I needed it MY cesspool to stay clean after a massive cleaning session. I am PATHETIC.

giggling about the hair, sorry. my kids probably wouldn't say anything either. ben's off to work so early he wouldn't see it til he got home. then he'd say...what the HECK is going on w/ your hair? ha ha

YAY!!! Woohoo!! Congrats on getting the basement cleaned. I know it's a lot of work cleaning up after the chillin's! You should add "flushing" to the point list! ha ha maybe that would work. Sometimes Ashley forgets or just taps the handle so it doesn't do the job it's supposed to. Ewwww!

Good Luck with that!
