a farting purse? and obsessed with a quest

I've got 2 stories to share tonight.

1st. my purse Farts. it's true. if you hit it or bump it the wrong way it FARTS! or toots or whatever you like to call that loud passing gas sound. i can go many ways with that. fart, fluff, reef, poot,toot,step on a barking spider. whatever it's all the same . you know the noise.

so last night on my quest for a 2 disc special edition Twilight DVD at my 2nd walmart of the EARLY MORNING(middle of the night after 1:30 am) i'm walking to my car in the walmart parking lot, my purse is bouncing against my leg with every step i take. and with each bounce against my thigh? pbbt, PPPBBBTTT, FPBBTTTTTTT! tooting.

i got into my crappy little car, and dig through my LARGE,OVERSTUFFED with assorted crap pink and zebra striped bag and find a fart machine. thank you Peyton for letting me carry your beloved push button fart machine. no wonder people looked at me funny when i passed by. they thought i was crop dusting farts through the Walmart. WHICH I WASN'T! thank you very much!

i had to giggle though every time it got pressed in my purse after that.

2nd a Confession....

i go on Quests!

it's true.

a quest is when i'm in search of a particular item at a particular store. and i go to more than one store in a day on my search for my item that i am after in my quest.

usually it's a certain size or style and it's most often on CLEARANCE!

this week i was on a quest for these plates.

i went to 3 different target's this week . one every couple days. all of them in Mesa.

THEN TODAY? i hit 7 targets. yes i did. 1 in Tempe, 2 in North Scottsdale, 2 in chandler, 1 in Gilbert and another in Mesa.

did i find what i was after? HECK YES! and then some . yeah. buying stuff on clearance might not be the most genius idea if i get obsessed and go on a quest all over the Valley to find my items. the gas plus the extra items i just can't pass up while I'm there. not super smart.

i have 20 dinner plates in this print a couple 3 serving bowls too. and some other stuff from the same line.

they are cute, kid friendly(read plastic) and it's something to use when we run out of paper. WHOOHOO!

it only took going to 9 different stores to get them .

it's still a bargain right?

i need the apron and table runner too i think, and I'm considering doing the kids bathroom in the basement in that line. it's cute. and fun. and i like it. but those items aren't on clearance yet so i can wait for awhile on them maybe.

anyway. 2 shopping adventures. i found my 2 disc special edition DVD of Twilight at Target.

and passed the lame single dvd onto my mom. she doesn't need the extra outtakes.
