Olive Juice mouthed slowly....

looks like I Love you!

and yet when olive juice gets spilled on the floor? it sounds like WTH?!

Pierce strikes again.

he's mastered our can opener (our handy magic automatic set the thing on top and push the button can opener). and HE took it upon himself to get a can of olives out of the pantry and open it .

He doesn't even like olives he only puts them on his fingers and then throws them. if he eats one he spits it out. what was appealing about olives today?

But I was busy taking pictures of my random curl that needs straightened. it's large today. bigger than an annoying wave, it's a tsunami. so my camera phone and i were having a good time taking pictures of it. (but for some reason my phone wouldn't text it to my email so you don't get to see the wonder,sorry)

while Pierce was adding olives to his cup of milk.

until suddenly the cup started overflowing and it was GO TIME!

WTH? Olives?!

i grabbed the cup, and instructed Hope to wipe the kid table and the floor where the olive juice and milk flowed like a river.

i took the overflowing cup over and dumped it into the disposal side of the sink, JUST AS I REALIZED that i couldn't turn the disposal on, that there was a PENNY in there waiting for little hands to retrieve it. darn it!

a penny, a half a can of medium olives, and no end in sight.

so i went in.

NORMALLY i'm disgusted by the disposal and all it entails. it's an essential part of a kitchen in my opinion but i like to keep my distance from it. and not get to friendly with it, as in Sticking my hand inside to retrieve something. on a rare desperate occaison i'll 'go in' but i don't like it.

so I'm standing at the sink with my hand jammed in the disposal. my hand that can palm a basketball, my hand that is not petite and girly. my man hand was in the disposal!

just as Lance walks by to the restroom from the office ( which we lovingly refer to as his Cave.) he sees the olives and juice on the floor, and i tell him the wonder of Pierce's can opening skills. and confess that yes, i did put something down the disposal. even though not 15 minutes ago when he was doing the dishes and i was doing the laundry he told me not to run it because a penny had just gone down there.

i said ,"yeah, i realized that just a minute too late. and not only is there a penny down there but roughly 10 olives, and the quarter i had already retrieved from my disposal diving expedition. and NOW the penny has in fact gone missing."

Hope with the exceptionally dainty hands cannot consider putting her hand in the disposal, even if she get's to keep the penny.

i'll wait until someone braver comes home from school and raise the reward to a dollar.

it's funny but , they will do anything for a buck.

in the meantime i already dug out all of the olives.

@2:35 Pierce opened a can of corn. Hope and Pierce are totally excited to eat corn.

a can of kidney beans was next in line.

i think i'm going to have to hide the magic can opener.

and spring break has officially begun. it's going to be a long week. they've already started whining and bickering. YAY ME. (sarcasm)

bunko tonight. it's the only thing getting me through today.
