OK well today was a very busy day.

Joy had her field trip to the fire station today and so I rushed to get out the door to get there on time and I planned on going so I had to get Hope and Pierce dressed too. So on the way there , Joy tells me I can't come because she wants to ride in her teachers car. So I didn't go,instead we tried to hit the new Ross on Signal butte and Baseline, but they didn't open until 9:30 and it was 9:00. So we had to go to Walmart and piddle around. I had to be back before 10:15 to get Joy. So I got my candy for our family Easter picnic(no chocolate because it melts!) so we got some cheap candy. and then went back a little early. And the cars had just pulled up before us. apparently the firemen had a call and had to leave in a rush. Very exciting! so we rush back to our neighborhood to hit the park for visiting teaching. we let the kids play and I don't have to clean up for their visit. Pretty great. so that lasts almost an hour and as we are leaving a friend that lives at the end of the Park from us was outside. So we go home to get a coat for Hope and her Blankie and walk back to her house to visit and play outside. it was a fun chat. then we come home for a short break before we hit costco to get Joy's snack for preschool, tomorrow it's her turn to bring it. I got a boatload of stuff. She picked go-gurt , graham crackers and fruit by the foot.I was feeling nice. Then my mom called she picked up two puppies today from the airport. She breeds Shit-zu's and bought them over the Internet, for her retirement investment. She is retiring this summer from teaching. So by her figures, she can make $12,000 a year selling puppies. as a supplement to her retirement income it's not bad. and the kids always have fun playing with grandma's puppies. So she came to visit and brought the puppies to play while she went to a Dr. appointment. Joy was in heaven. there was some drama about not sharing and hogging Amber the lighter brown one. Mom has some funny long dog names but she is calling them Amber and Silky. and by drama I mean fights , punching and biting. It really brought out the best in these kids. Ugh! anyway grandma came and picked them up and then it was pretty close to bedtime. Yeah for me.
