It took six kids....
A running list I just thought of. I'll add more as I think of them.
- It took six kids before I used store brand diapers all the time.
- It took six kids until I let anyone hang out in a diaper all day.
- It took six kids before I had a c-section.
- It took six kids before I went out in public looking like crap on a regular basis.
- It took six kids before I let liberty go to school without a bow in her hair.
- It took six kids to decide its just easier to leave the shoes in the car when we go anywhere to play i.e. barro's, mcdonalds, grandma's.
- It took six kids to relax about the matching.
- It took six kids to realize it isn't my fault the house is a mess all the time.
- It took six kids to learn to let it go.
- It took six kids and cancer before I realized who my real friends are.
- It took six kids to really appreciate all my husband does for us.
- It took six kids to figure out six kids is a lot of kids, and it isn't cheap.
- It took six kids to help me decide to send my 3 yr old to preschool, it is worth the money.
- It took six kids for my husband to decide we are done for awhile.
- It took six kids to make me appreciate each one for who they are as individuals.
- It took six kids to teach me I need to try to be a better mom.
- It took six kids to realize I just might have to pay for therapy someday.
- It took six kids to really need a night out alone, really often.
- It took six kids to realize I need to enjoy them "in the moment" because they grow up so fast.
- It took six kids to make me the mom I am. Still learning and never perfect but still the mom of six kids.
- It took six kids to make me dread candy getting activities(Easter egg hunts, trick-or-treating,valentine party's) because they hoard all their loot.
- It took six kids and this post to realize I need to let my kids enjoy all the kid activities there are and get over the inconvenience and the cost and the mess that it makes.
