Breeding wild baby birds!
The last baby bird left the nest today! I had to throw away my wreaths on both the front and back doors from letting those birds survive and grow into pooping little birds. i wanted to take a picture of the last ones because i could see them , but failed to do it today before i left and when i came home they were gone! They left the nest in hatching order too. the last/youngest one left today!
this picture is right after they hatched, they were all fuzzy and pretty quickly they got real feathers.
the kids love the experience, watching and waiting for them to hatch and them watching them grow. into real little birds. they had started petting them. And Joy was begging today to keep the last one! She even cried , i don't think she's noticed they are all gone yet. but when she does i expect tears!

How cute! What a great experience for your kiddos!
that is so sweet your own little pets!
You know, that is really weird. We had a nest started in our door hanging. And our neighbor in the ward had a bundle of eggs and a nest in their door hanging. Wonder if theirs hatched too. That is so silly the birds enjoyed door ornaments this season for nesting.
