Negative! I am not pregnant! oh and no cancer either

Negative for thyroid cells in that particular lymph node! not to say that there isn't any somewhere in there but not today! SO was it worth the wait? the lame DR.s office said between 5 and 6 and the call was after 6:30 ! I had kind of given up hope that they'd call today! but finally they called and yeah it was NEGATIVE! i brought up the fact that they didn't test the same lymph node that they had last time, which was, I thought, what they were planning on. He dismissed that, he said with regular (every six months) extensive follow up ultrasounds they would watch for more abnormal lymph nodes or growth, and more biopsies in the future, so no surgery yet! which is fine and yet if it is ever gonna happen i want it done sooner than later. for these reasons, #1 , we have group insurance for 4 more months, after that it is preexisting, and private insurance. #2, I am not done having kids, scary i know, but really i don't want to be in the middle of this again during a pregnancy! #3 really it is all about the insurance. #4 I don't think they did the right lymph node, and if they did fine, but i want the other one biopsied too! and #5 I want another radioactive Thyroid scan, because if it lights up on that sucker, it is cancer, and if it doesn't I'll let it rest. I go to see my endocrinologist tomorrow, so we will be discussing these issues then. and also, I kind of think the surgeon is an ASS, while cute and flirty, he can be a jerk, so I think I'll be checking for more options in that arena. Negative is pretty OK! i have already started considering my options as far as gastric bypass, and pregnancy, I'm thinking bypass first, then pregnancy, then tummy tuck during C-section delivery, then a little lift and I think I'll be good. I am really digging these options! Cancer can kiss my @**!
