Guess who is 3 today!

Hope!

Hope was feeling shy at the Photo shoot Matt did in May. she was hiding her face from him! figuring he couldn't see her if she couldn't see him. and if she can't be seen no pictures have to be done!
Hope and Grandma Joann in the only picture we have of her in her blessing dress. I went with cream, for her, they all have different dresses, and we had done white with light pink , white and Fuchsia ,and Hope got to have cream with light pink! It was sewn by my mom, and so fabulous!

I loved this out fit! it seemed so classic baby and this is our antique high chair, i inherited with the house. I was hoping to get some cute pictures for my mom to paint in water color. She has done portraits of most of the grandkids.


She finally warmed up after the group shots and smiled. She is totally in her element when she is with her siblings!


Hope is the sweetest little girl! She is my baby girl and #5 kid. She is my sidekick and loves to just be with me, she is really shy and doesn't even like to hang out with any of her aunts or with my friends. She kind of still hides by me if she can. She still likes to sit in the high chair at Barro's wanting to claim the rights of being a baby, and the freedoms of a big girl , like walking at the store instead of riding in a cart! She is our only child with blue eyes and she has fabulously long eyelashes! Everyone that sees her comments on her eyes. She loves to hang out with the big kids, but also loves to sit on my lap all day long, hugging me. She loves her grandma's and loves to spend the night with them. She got to have her first spend the night alone with Grandma Jones (my mom) last Friday night, and was in heaven with all the one on one attention.
Hope is a girly girl and loves to have her hair done, and wear dresses! She gets Jealous if Joy has a dress to wear and refuses, skirts and shorts even, and forget about ever wearing pants or overalls! She loves DRESSES! She also likes shoes and puts them on and keeps them on all day if they are comfortable! She hates flip flops! She loves to be with my mom and wear her perfume, and lipstick and blush! She feels incomplete with out a hair bow! and throws a fit if i try to leave the house with out one. ( i have gotten lax and let that go, shocking I know) and Hope cannot let it go! She loves to look pretty. and sometimes she tells Joy she is ugly if she has a better hairdo than her, she is really competitive about it. and jealous already!
Hope loves animals, and will walk right up to a big dog and pet it, even when the other kids are scared. She is the tough one and holds the cat even when it scratches wanting to get down and she is the one that trained it to be held. She likes to dance and show off. and she likes to watch us cook. She is super helpful with the baby and will fetch the wipes and throw away diapers. She loves to change the load of laundry over and will empty the dishwasher. and only needs help putting the high stuff away. I totally let her slide on helping with real chores, since she is so little, but she wants to help. and what can I say, I'm not gonna stop her. and she is the only one who gets excited to take the dirty clothes to the laundry room for me.
Hope loves dark soda, coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Diet whatever, she wants it, no Mt.Dew for her, she likes what i have and knows dads isn't the same.

Hope is so sweet, and loving and i feel so blessed to have her as part of my family! She is my sidekick and loved me to hold her , she was like a monkey on my hip, never wanting to get down and walk for herself.
