super fabuloso! top ten kid shows i either watch or listen to.

10. Maya and Miguel. thus the super fabuloso! on pbs in the afternoon. (only by listening, not my fave) but some funny exclamations that i dig on.
9. Arthur, and if i am in the room i have to watch too. and i choose to watch this when i am alone in, say, the hospital. i don't know the other stations line-up and talk shows just don't do it for me anymore.
8. Magic School Bus , totally edu-tainment! i pick up all sorts of neat thing things from that. "at my old school we never went on field trips like this" and joy's fave color? VIOLET- learned from MAGIC SCHOOL BUS.she confused a few preschool kids with that. it is on TLC in the morning early. i'm thinking 7:30
7. SpongeBob Squarepants, not my fave but i do enjoy some of the songs, like the theme song, the goofy goober song, and the best day EV-ER. and this is one that is a purely listened to show. at least for me. and believe it or not i don't appreciate the poop talk, or the gay innuendos, and we outlawed it for a long time. but advertising to the kids, and such huge amounts of marketing sucked them in, that and the peer pressure from the Wheeler cousins. hard to fight it when everyone there thinks it is great and funny. oh well i still like the songs
6. love the songs on Doodle Bops. the costuming there bugs the crap outta me, but i dig on the choreography on the bus driver bob part. and i like that Madge isn't thin. but i hate the new Deedee Doodle, i liked the original. mostly listen to it anyway, since visually it bugs me. and what the hell is with Mo? freaking follow directions and "DON'T PULL THE ROPE"! drives me nuts.
5. i am a fan of Dora and Diego which both teach problem solving skills, and the Spanish never hurt anyone. Joy and Hope used to spend some quality time watching those and we had 26 of them tivo'd at once.
4.Lilo and Stitch, funny, the big kids love it, including Lance, he gets sucked into this one which generally pisses me off because he sits glued instead of helping get people ready. Ahhh but, Stitches talk bugs the crap out of me, mostly because Peyton does it too. and Patooky? yea , love that, every kid in the house knows it is the equivalent to A**. i mean bum. they love all words that mean buttocks, and patooky is the fave by far. thanks for that Stitch! and Lilo, needs to stay out of trouble, and Myrtle is just mean, i hate her. another huge assortment on Tivo of those. the kid know how to save them so they save all of them.
3. Pokemon, i dig this myself. why I don't know but i watch them when they are on. the kids all like to sit with me either on me (which i seat 2-3 )and next to me. not super relaxing but if they don't fight i am fine with it.
2. all the tween shows these days, Hannah Montana(love the songs and goofy lily), that's so Raven(she dresses great and she isn't thin but doesn't obsess about it, teaching healthy body image to girls, IMO) The suite life of Zac and Cody( the mom has great hair) , Phil of the Future (lance likes this one, after all the kids are in bed i walk in to find him watching it. Regularly! ) Life with Derek,(oddly enjoyable, it took a while for this to grow on me)

and my number one fave kid show to watch or listen too is....................I guess whatever is on is my fave, especially during my nap time, when the baby is sleeping and the kids that are home sit on the bed and watch a show (or 5), there are many that don't keep their attention as well as others and i don't love that ,then there are tons that are super annoying to listen to, and i can't sleep very well. like the little einsteins. some of those are great while the flight of the bumble bee episode sucks! SUCKS! SUPER SUCKS, while it is ok if i am awake, but when i am trying sleep,yeah, gotta turn that sucker off fast. and it puts Lance into a super bad mood quick!
