I'm a domestic Goddess with 7 kids. ages 14,13,12,10,8,6 and a wild toddler . They make me crazy but what can I do now? I've been rocking this gig for13 years as a senior VP in a non-profit organization.(stay at home mom)
This is where i chronicle my struggles with the daily wonder of MY life. I'm trying to find balance which is NEW for me.
I love to tell it like it is.
be warned there may be cussing, vomit tales and potty talk and if you are lucky , pictures of my c-section.
I had Thyroid Cancer, and the scars to PROVE it!
Thanks for stopping by! disclaimer: there are totally spelling errors, poor punctuation and typos! i can't be bothered with perfection.
I keep it real. hope you can get over it!
My hubby is always amazed that I can just tune that kind of stuff out. However, it's an excellent skill to have if you plan on multiple children or teaching special ed!
That is so funny. What I hate is when I'm upstairs, and they're sitting on their butts calling for me from downstairs. If you want me, come and find me! I, on the other hand, am free to yell for my kids from wherever I'm at.
as i am watching this my 4 year old is standing next to me going mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy!! mommy i'm hungry, mommmy, MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah, that's way too common around here- i've developed some keen "selective hearing" these past 7 years of motherhood! every now and then my husband will say, "can you just say something to them so they'll quit saying 'mom'!" LOL too funny!
That is just too funny!! I haven't gotten that quite yet, with just the little one, but he has definitely figured out the whining thing lately, so I can kinda understand.. Funny video though.. :0)
The title of my blog "Truly Delightful in Every Way!?!" is inspired by the Disney Movie "Mary Poppins" You know the part where she measures the kids and tells them what the tape measure says. Then she measures herself "Practically Perfect in Every Way".
Well 'Truly Delightful in Every Way', is me. I made it up years ago. It Isn't often true anymore, but it can be (with the proper medication) ;)
I started blogging in March 2007 , it's been quite the adventure, but i could never give it up, this is the best therapy I've ever had,( lets be real it's way cheaper than retail therapy), so my hub-tastic lets me continue, (even if he's not my demographic).
