seriously i think i am out of stuff to blog about.
i am struggling for something fun to post about.
I know who would have guessed i would ever run out? i didn't think that was possible.
so i typed those couple lines and low and behold i was called upon to do my job (be the mom) and while i made Hope her plate of food (she told me "i didn't eat ,i was sleeping.") Huge sentence from a kid that couldn't really form a sentence a month ago. YAY ! HOPE can Talk! i though oh i can blog that.
and then while i buttered her roll , the phrase "smooth like butta' " came back to me, which i used to say in high school and sometimes someone was "all that and a bag of chips " right? oh a high school lingo post yeah blogging that later.
and then Pierce has discovered the wonder of spinning on the lazy susan ( a round spinny thing for passing food in a circle in the midddle of the table ) . he is totally entertained by that now instead of climbing up on top of the table and just standing up there like the dare devil he is. i swear this kid is a devil child. all through dinner he insisted on standing on the bench and leaning over to the table trying to get on top, he even got a foot in Paxton's plate.
and before all the food was to the table to pray and eat, Pierce was leaning across the bench semi-on top of the table, he got himself a piece of watermelon, dropped it in the corn and was then enjoying corn by the handful. while the big kids all laughed and watched! "hellooo genuises! if you watch and laugh at naughty behavior, you get in trouble not him! " my kids kill me sometimes! my mom came for our regular sunday dinner. she comes every week. and it is a great reason to cook a good meal instead of mac and cheese or some other lame thing we eat normally. we usually have tacos but today we had roast and potatoes and carrots from the crockpot. and it was quite delicious! the boys ate tons of meat and candied carrots ( i make some heavenly candied carrots! ) . the girls ate veggies. and watermelon. and rolls with butta and jam.
after lunch/dinner it was 3 ish. we had quiet time until Pierce woke up a half hour into my nap, and i had to get up with him, so i brought him downstairs, changed him and left the big boys in charge of him. yeah that wasn't very swift. while i was continuing my nap on the couch, Pierce climbed up on top of table, and smeared strawberry jam (that was still out from lunch and on the table) all over the lazy susan, and on the lap top too. i woke up to hearing the boys laughing. and when i yelled to see what was so funny, Peyton told me. so yeah they were sent away while i cleaned up the sugary mess. but it did encourage me to really clean it , and i discovered a spilled coke Zero too. so yeah bonus nap generally wasn't worth it. but my table is clean enough for pierce to spin on! yay!
and can i say my new fave product? clorox anywhere spray. i spray it, leave it for a minute and wipe it down with a damp washcloth and wha-la! it doesn't smell lovely but it does a great job and kills germs too. yay!

I love the clorox spray too! I didn't get a good nap today either I hate that. That is so great that Hope is starting to talk. That is how Kennedi has been lately really surprising us! They don't get evaluated until October I thought it was earlier but it was just to talk to me. Pretty much was a waste of my time!! Something that could have been done over the phone.
You wont run of of things to blog about always think of something. I love reading your blogs they make me smile.
I'm gonna have to try the clorox spray - I feel like I have low blog days too - coming up with something funny and fresh everyday is crazy - but it's nice to have great blog friends that don't care so long as you do write :)
Have a great day - and your roast sounded yummy - I love those crockpot days!
I haven't tried that spray, but I will now. Don't you love when you are asking the other kids to help, what their idea of "helping"is? Same stuff goes on at my house.
I am going to have to make roast this week for my dinner rotation. Thanks for the idea!
And I totally saw your mom and bro at church today. We went to see the new baby k be blessed. It was nice to see the old ward, but I have to say, it totally reaffirmed to me how much we are where we are supposed to be! Love our ward!!
I too love Clorox spray. It makes me feel like things really are clean! I hope everyone at your house is feeling better! :)
Funny about him figuring out the lazy susan! And yummy dinner! Luvpilot usually works on Sundays so our Sunday dinners aren't much. I'm gonna have to try the Clorox anywhere. I don't think you'll ever run out of blogging stories....the world would probably end.
there is always something to blog when you have kids. YAY for Hope!!! i wish i could use good cleaning products here, my mom has a specific routine that must be followed.
