how come the days fly by? kids will be home soon. but i just looked at my calendar and holy wow! the weeks fly by! tomorrow is fun Friday! and seriously i am pretty excited because tomorrow is payday Friday! which i love. i like having a fuller bank account rather than an empty one. i know i know! who doesn't! you'd think i'd ration the funds a tad better but nope. not after i have to catch up!. anyway. Lance informed me in the last hour he is going to Chicago for a work thing for 3 days in October! yes. i know traveling ! hmm what will that be like him on a trip and me alone for 3 days with the six hoodlums. and i automatically thought oh, he needs new clothes for this trip! can't go looking dumpy to a merger meeting. anyway. it always turns to shopping for me. so yes , i will go shopping for some new clothes,YAY! Lance has a tendency to dress not so fabulously when left to his own devices. it was a sad state when we started dating. and his sister , raves about how when i got my claws onto him he started dressing so much better. I'll take that as a compliment thank you! anyway i digress, so I'm putting crap on my calendar which i almost never do. and i put in the date for Liberty's baptism, and lunches and that trip. and time flies! and there are only 63 days until the day after thanksgiving shopping day. but still i have only a few short busy weeks until i have to host the baptism shindig in traditional family expectation form. because if you don't party , you don't get to chat with anyone. and that is just a few super fast passing weeks of short days that seem to go by in the blink of an eye. why do the days fly by when the evenings last FOREVER!?!
so what is the best order to plan and prepare for this? i am at a loss as to what i should do first.
does everyone else feel like time moves faster these days?

I totally agree! It's like it's morning, time to get the kids off to school. Then, suddenly it's Noon, then crap it's 3pm. The kids are coming home! Where did my time go? I don't know! ha ha. Then homework & then the wonderfully fun question...What's for dinner?
The days totally go by way too fast!! For me, its hang out at the house changing diapers, making bottles, & playing with toys & then suddenly it's cRaP-- Trevor is going to be home & I look eXaCtLy like I did when he left the house this morning!! Makes me feel like I didn't do anything all day!! Hooray for shopping for new clothes for Lance.. Trevor gets irritated with me when I purchase him clothes, he seems to think he can wear the same things he did in 9th grade..
Yeah -- it goes by way fast! My favorite is that Mia is almost 5 months and I am not loosing any of the baby weight! I swear she was just 6 weeks old last week and then I felt like I had more of an excuse. Oh well. I had 2 1/2 years with Powell and it never happened. I always think once October hits we are on turbo speed--with all the holdidays and get togethers...Christmas will be over before we know it!
One thing at a time - first things first. I can only concentrate on what's coming next, when that's over, I'll deal with the next crisis. Maybe that's why it's always a crisis. (although I'm good at shopping ahead for Christmas and stuff).
I'd start by trying to unpack 1 box a day - sort, toss, and declutter at the same time. Then maybe you'll be ready for the party without a major last minute stash and dash.
TIME? Who has any of that???
seriously days feel like week to me. good luck with the shopping, good times!!
yes, way too fast! I can't believe September is almost gone! CRAZY! You are so busy though! I hate it when Micah has to travel....but luckily his work has put all travel to a hault for now, so no more Indonesia this year! :)
Yeah, this week has flown! I can't believe tomorrow is friday!
I know I can't believe September is almost over! I just got to go shopping for Mike for a business trip-fun & he looks so much better since we met too HA!
I like your sisters idea & the whole putting it on my side bar has really helped me! One thing at a time!!
