does anyone else suffer from adult acne? and bonus MLM
Hello! i have the hugest most painful zit on my face. the kind where a quarter of your face just hurts and is swollen! i swear it is that new concealer i got! i never in the standard awkward teenage years had zits or acne! never! my skin was pretty darn flawless! and now? cruising the painful acne! and then what gets me is that is wasn't really a zit, just a clogged poor but i squeezed it and aggravated whatever it was into this huge bruised swollen delight! and now I have a huge freaking zit! and it won't pop! i love to pop zits! it is the ultimate thrill for me to squeeze a little dark pore and get a nice large blackhead out of it! and super satisfying too! yea i love to pick! zits, blackheads, cysts, and ingrown hairs. it isn't pretty to admit such things, but yeah it is the highlight of my life to pick zits, i gotta take the simple pleasures where they come right?! yes i do! and what kills me the most is when there is a delightful zit that appears oh so ready, but it won't pop! that is where i am right now! hurting giant goiter of a zit that won't release it's treasure! yup! so of course i mutilate it beyond all reason and cause a huge painful scabby blight on my face instead trying to pop it. happy times!

sad story , my sisters were ten years older than me and weren't blessed with the lovely skin i had, they had acne of the pizza face kind, well they would come over with boyfriends and i was the rudest little sister ever and would hover, and i totally remember calling my older sister pizza face in front of a guy in the pool she was swimming with, maybe they were even on a date. and i think maybe nice enough to let me tag along. she cursed me that day that i would have acne someday too! well at 30 her curse has come to rear it's ugly head! and make itself present on my otherwise lovely skin. so not fabulous! I'm calling this last part memory lane Monday! BONUS!

you crack me up! I'm glad you didn't make this blog private. Boy, I go oot and I miss like 10 pages of your posts. Too bad I didn't have internet on vacation. I could have kept up with everyone on a day-to-day basis. I don't blame you on the vacation thing. If I had it my way I wouldn't go either. I like to stay home!!!!

Put a hot washcloth on the one that will not pop.

I am a zit picker, popper, do whatever to get rid of it kind of girl too! I know some people find it disgusting, but I just can't help myself. I even have to do my honey's if he has one...or work on his ingrown hairs. Gross yes...fascinating...even more!
I think you just posted about me! I love picking things also. I love to pickmy husbands back. He gets some zits there in the summer from being sweaty and I always beg to pick them. It drives him crazy. I have also been into picking my leg hairs one by one. Good times! I have a huge zit by my mouth. Actually a trio. They look nasty. They are actually drying up. I use Clinique Spot Treatment. It dries them out super fast. I am like you. Hardly ever have zits. It must be having 6 kids! :)
had it in high school. not horrible but bad enough that i thought i had to wear lots of foundation. after baby #2 it came back. bad. so i got proactive. worked great. but i think i have finally out grown it.
(watch, tomorrow i will have a huge zit on the end of my nose for saying that!!)
I love popping zits. The only time that I don't is when that nasty stuff sprays and hits me in the face. Well that is actually a win/lose, cause I hate it being on me but think it is so cool that it popped so good. Gross now I feel a little sick thinking about it. My other fav is ingrown hair. Love these, love seeing how long the hair is and stuff like that. Ok I am now totally grossed out. I am going to have to wait to eat breakfast.
I know exactly what you are talking about with the ones that won't pop. I always get a bruise and a scab. I woke up with one on my chin on my WEDDING DAY!

I am totally a picker, hence the fact that I now have horrible skin!! I never used to have acne as a teenager when you are supposed to, but now my skin is worse than ever.. I always just blame it on stress, but what in the heck do I have to stress about!!?? I'm scared to see what my face looks like when I have more than 1 kid!! AAhhHHHh... :0)
Yeah I tOo had a clear face in high school, until I started having my kids and stress really kicked in. I have this mirror that i take to the kitchen for light to pluck those brows...for some reason the lighting shows every clogged poor.....and when I am done I look like I was attacked by a bunch of bees! Yeah...it's not pretty. I tOo wonder what the crap...why now?

I had bad acne in jr high & high school. it was like as soon as i graduated hs, my face suddenly cleared up. i get little breakouts here n there, but mostly not bad. thank goodness! i definitely put in my time of bad skin (& yes i was a picker, still am) i only pick at my own. i do pick at the ingrown hairs on my legs & my hubby's legs but that's it. he'll ask me to get a zit on his back if he can't reach. GROSS! i'll do it cuz i luv him but begrudgingly (did I spell that right?). anyway, good luck. I hate the swollen bruisey ones. i always pick and the skin comes off & wake up w/ big scab. yuck! i feel for you!
I too am a picker, always have been! It is the ones that arrive when they are least invited!!! I had one on the tip of my nose years ago. It hurt sooo dang bad! :)
zit picker? not me. I don't get zits! hahaha! I wish!
I here ya. I never had acne before but right after I had my daughter I started getting them every once in awhile and they could be the painful, under the skin type. A friend of mine (she is a dermatologist) told me to rotate hot and cold compress and it would help. She was right!!! It has hard but I try not to touch them.
I am a aesthitician and hey most adult acne is caused by stress or hormones! Groovey Huh?!! If I was your sister I would have cursed you too.

I had some acne in high school. And yes I am guilty of poppin zits too. About a year after I got married I started having cystic acne. I had to go in twice a week for shot in my face. Boy was that fun! NOT!! Later I found out that the kind of cystic acne I had was a symptom of a medical condition that I have.
Okay, first let me say "thank you" for not posting a picture. And second....You lucky dog ---never having teenager acne. At least now you know who you are & you aren't some kid trying to be gorgeous & totally embarrassed to show yourself! I am sorry that it's so painful.
