part 1

First do you see this bank? do you know what is in here?? it isn't money! let me just say some swifty (aka one of my brilliant chilluns) had the bright idea of saving their grapes in the change bank! this fabulous little jar bank adds up the money you put in. and keeps a running total for you, until you reset it or it reaches $999.99! yeah a thousand bucks essentially in small change. i told our kids they had to do their part to save up to go to Disneyland. when they reach the $999.99 we'll go! and i have to say it has done wonders for them . they are very careful with the change they find. and responsible with the jar too. until today!

but it got too full so we had to put it in the bank. and this is what they do with it while it is empty? gimmee some quarters baby! EWWW on the grapes! i'm just glad i discovered it before they started to mold! because it would've gone straight into the trash . mold is not my friend!


I'm pretty sure this was the swifty behind the grapes. good thing she is cute!
and there was no mold! what i really wonder is what the other kids did when they witnessed the event in question? probably fought over who got to hold the jar! i heard a fight break out around it, but couldn't tell what was inside at the time. good thing i thought to look!

and did anyone try to see hotmama's blog? it has gone missing. we have some suspicions about it. see anonymous comment on the top ten Tuesday post. anyway hard to track down a missing blog. so no she didn't go private suddenly , her blog was STOLEN! and deleted!! shocking i know! So that is all we know for now but I'm sure she will resurface soon enough in one form of blog or another! Since she is obviously, seriously addicted like the rest of us!

and update on the strep epidemic. so far Liberty didn't have it! yay, according to the quick test. and Lance and I have appointments tomorrow morning after the costume parade! i am so glad it starts early or i was gonna miss it because of the Dr's appointments! this is Peyton's last year to participate! and Joy's first! it is a big year! i'll be sure to take some pictures! i know you can't wait! my throat is feeling hot, and weird. and i have had a headache! do you think i have it? i can't remember the last time i had strep, maybe not since i had my tonsils out. HMMM interesting. I'll let you know!
