this is ME! summer of 1994
i figured if i was posting pics of Jayna, and Becky it was only fair to include myself. i considered Lindsey in the search for pics too. since that was our clique but i knew she would be Peeved about that. and spared her.

HMMM new bloggers! I have some old friends that are new bloggers! yay!

Jayna is freaking the funnest girl i know! and she travels to far off fabulous places. she is totally hot and still single! um AND she is an interior decorator in UTAH! she is not promising to update tons but i was still thrilled to get an email from her with a blog link! yay! JAYNA! she is my friend on face book and LDS link-up too. FYI.Jayna got glamor shots! what a fox!

did i do a shout out yet about BECKY!??? another Highschool sidekick! she has two cute kids and seems to have found her outdoorsy side. which i had no idea about. but thrilled to view her blog finally! she keeps busy and lives close but we seem to never see her. HMMM Bag nap time Becky and come to lunch once in a while! She is all about a bargain too. so i feel a bond to her. yay for bargains and black Friday shopping! plus all the high school adventures!

wanna know the dumbest most unsafe thing i ever did with these fun girls?

details are lacking but i recall going to Mill Ave. to hang out! It was me, Becky, Jayna and if anyone else was there i can't recall(Lindsey where were you?) anyway. we were hanging out. got to the coffee plantation where people seemed to linger/loiter, and we were standing there. Some group of guys comes up to us and we all chatted. as i recall it he was hot for Becky because all the guys were but he approached me because i was friendly, and approachable. (this is my theory anyway) so we chatted it up for a bit and they asked us hey do you wanna go to our house? (not sure if they mentioned swimming or not) but stupidly we say SURE! so we follow them out to Ahwatukee, back when there wasn't much out there,Just a few giant houses, mostly reservation, in BFE it was dark, pretty rural. between Tempe and this guys house, as we are driving i recall thinking this isn't very smart but we kept going. THEN we get there, and i guess we knew we were gonna swim. because they gave us some of their boxers and t shirts, and we changed into them in the bathroom. (i was never a skinny dipper! and we were prudish naive little Mormon girls) so as we are changing i am talking to Jayna feeling like , this is not smart, we are in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of strange teenage guys, at a house we aren't even sure whose it is, and there is one of the guys dads there. so we change go to to the pool, and me and Jayna are kind of cowering in the corner, no mingling was going on. and Becky is chatting it up with the guy that dug on her. anyway you can imagine wet boxers and t-shirts great coverage! i don't recall any of the guys swimming, except Becky's admirer. yeah so we were uncomfortable, and finally decide to bail on this plan. and go home, on the way home discussion was had that we were lucky none of them wanted to rape us or whatever because what were we gonna do? this was back when no one had cell phones, and i am pretty sure it was just the county sheriff department out there, and if these people had not nice plans we didn't have much safety on our side. so we got lucky. and then after that smart adventure , Becky ended up going out with this guy! he totally dug on her. that was summer time and i vividly recall her going out with him around Christmas? and i have to wonder if Becky didn't ride with the Guys from Mill? and we had to follow her to swim and then leave? not clear.

High school, especially the stupid judgments are all a tad fuzzy! and the year was 1994 just before senior year? the summer i made most of the dumb decisions in my life. it seemed to be a
recurring trend. but it was otherwise memorable and fun! the music we listened to? WEEZER -THE SWEATER SONG, Greenday, OFFSPRING, hmm i feel a playlist coming on. stay tuned.

on a better note, I got a new fabulous purse! can I just say, WHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOHOOOO! super stoked on that. it is my fave color (Fuchsia) and just the right size. huge-ish. I can fit my wallet, wipes , diapers, my make-up bag, my current reading material(the last Outlander series book) , cell phone and a billion pens, my camera case, and later i am sure it will be packed with loads of fruit snacks and assorted kid stuff, and tons of receipts! oh and it has the bottle pockets just like my green purse. same style and brand as that but bigger. yeah , fabulous!Loving this Purse! and in case you want details? it is a $40 Kathy Van Zeeland from TJmaxx.

Did i show you my free Viagra pen? WHOOhoo on that! that was my treat last week at the Dr.

I got my prize (fabulous necklace) from my birth story , in the cyber baby shower contest when i had the flu, i am of course thrilled! Here it is finally! it is hand stamped on sterling silver "Lucky mommy" with a pearl dangle and a silver ball chain! yay! Check out Lisa she has some fabulous stamped silver jewelry!

also i got another new smaller 'just for mom alone" purse from Janan -she brought me a Gucci knock off from china! and i was pretty darn thrilled about it! Gucci knock off direct from China! thanks Janan for thinking of me and picking up a purse for me , the best 10 bucks ever!

breakfast? what did you eat today?
I opted for maple and brown sugar Oatmeal. i like my microwave oatmeal dryish and lumpy. by dry i mean there is no extra water in it just enough to cook it, but not enough to make it runny. i don't do soupy oatmeal. I add sugar, and just a dab of milk again not to make it runny but to soften up the blob of oatmeal. since it is virtually solid. i totally love it this way. i am eating as i post.
So i wanna know how do you eat your oatmeal? do you even eat it? some people i am sure don't whether it is a texture thing or a fiber issue. or eww flavored oatmeal! what do you think of it? what flavor? i need to know! i used to enjoy apple cinnamon or peaches and cream but not any more. what about oatmeal from scratch? do you make that? would you eat it? i like it , but it is always super dark with the sugar. and thick , and lumpy if i can help it.


here is the WTH? part you might think the randomness all warrants a WTH? but this is the main one i planned on anyway.

on to the whole i can't use the back button off your page issue! UMMM, i have no idea why not!
my sister the one also known as Hotmama, said she thought it was the POLL, making it stick on there. i think if the change in using back button is new though, it must be the new weather thing. i tried it and it worked for me . SO i don't know for sure what it could be. also, i never use the back button, i always open a link in a new window so i can link from my own page over and over,

and listen to MY playlist.

but i am not sure i love my links changes. what do you think? lame? inconvenient? lemmee know. but with my super smart open link in new window i just close the window when i am done. so no need for the back button.
