Friday fun!
i talked to the principal and she was very nice. she'll be talking to the teacher. i am personally thrilled. but i did get a note from the DR. about Liberty's illnesses. so they can't even go there. but the principal, said she didn't need the DR. note. it worked out great. made my case stronger, and it helps i have personally talked to the principal before , a few times this year about not wanting to have them come home for no reason. so she knows i don't keep them home just for fun. i felt pretty great about it.
and i took Hope to the DR.. Hope has gastritis. over active stomach acid causing stomach pains. so she gave her prevacid. and we'll hope that works.
ahhh fun weekend so far. cleaning, and finally decorating. i know we are ultra lame and late about it too.Paxton turns 7 on Sunday.
and so does our niece. tomorrow the little girls get to go to a party with a real horse. I'll take pictures for sure.My Brother Bruce graduated from ASU today! with a degree in Education, with a science something. he already has a contract with Mesa schools teaching 8th grade science, where he did his student teaching, which is unheard of. We are so excited for him. it has been a long haul for them , 4 kids ages, 9,7, and 3 year old twins. so I'm sure his wife is feeling pretty darn relieved to be done. he is thrilled to have his own classroom and an excuse now for all the science projects he has going on all the time, and I'm sure his wife will be excited to not have the skeletons and gross mold growth experiments at home. Any kids that will have him as a science teacher are dang lucky becuase he is excited about it they'll get to do extra cool stuff. Congrats Bruce we love ya and are so glad that is over for your family! whoohooo! i know your family will be blessed for the sacrifices you have made to get your education. WHOOHOO! aren't you glad that is over? I'm sure Lynell is!

I think the new principal is really nice & great to work with. although I haven't had any issues to speak to her about. Hope everything turns out in the end.
Poor Hope, Felicia had something similar about that same age. The dr never called it that, but she pretty much had too much stomach acid and was feeling it come up her throat & burning. Dr told her to take mylanta 2-3 times a day until she started feeling better. It only took a couple weeks, then periodically gave it to her if it flared up. It must've cured itself cuz she hasn't had a problem since. YAY!! Good luck.
Happy Bday Paxton!!
Congrats to your brother! Woohoo awesome accomplishment!
P.S. I love the cheese fries at Outback Steakhouse! esp with their ranch dressing!
YEAH! We need more fun science teachers!
go devils!! i know how awesome that feels to graduate, but i can only imagine how much greater it felt for he, his wife, & kids- 10 times greater!!!
i'm glad you have the principal on your side. i hope your kids begin to feel better!
Paxton and Hailey are about the same age. Happy Birthday!
& Congrats to your brother!
I am sure your brother will be well liked. My boys love science! Any teacher that likes experiments in science, is going to be a hit! :)
Congrats to your brother! I have always loved my science teachers. I still remember my freshman biology teacher...he used to come to class dressed up as Gregor Mendel and talk about fruit flies! Teachers can either be such an awesome, positive influence on you or they can really suck and make you hate school. Your brother sounds like he'll be a positive influence on a lot of kids!
Glad the principal was on your side. Some teachers just don't get what's important. My friend's first grader is reading on a 6th grade level, but instead of the teacher saying how great that is, she instead points out that he's not comprehending what he reads when he reads the higher level books. Did she forget he's a FIRST GRADER?
