the last day of 2007!

the past year. was a big one for us. here is my Christmas cheesy newsletter it sums it up nicely. of course my long time readers got to watch most of it unfold. notice no mention of my blog in this. so yeah i wasn't advertising for all the family to come read what i am up to. hear me swear, and talk crudely. yeah. i save that for people i like. you guys! i am not honest with some people about what is really going on. they see the hunky-dory everything is fine me. you guys get the open honest me. because i don't feel like they really care . if they get uncomfortable they suddenly can't chat. so i gloss over the reality. for them.

Long version-
Lance Graduated from ASU last December and took a Job at Freescale semi-conductor over Honeywell.
Julie's thyroid cancer is still being watched closely, she freaks out every six months when testing comes around, but is otherwise fine. She has 2 bunko groups she loves, and a book club and girls night out group. She's gotta have a little fun to keep her sane.
Lance and Julie celebrated 10 years of marriage in April, and went on a quick trip to Las Vegas ALONE (thanks JoAnn!)
We bought Julie's Mom's house in May, and got laid off from Freescale the day after closing. But it was a blessing in disguise , since he loves his new company and is working from home for more money. He currently works for EnergyConnect INC. based out of Portland. They flew us there for the company holiday party in November, ALONE. (thanks mom!)
Our kids are growing up so fast!
Pierce turned 1 in August and is a wild little boy. He's super happy but he knows what he wants, and how to scream until he gets his way. He loves both of his Grandma's. He spends his time out back with the dogs, and he loves to play out front. Thank goodness for that picket fence and gates because he has recently mastered opening the spring loaded front door.
Hope turned 3 in July and started going to preschool at Lehi for her speech. She gets to ride the bus, and has afternoons alone with mom while Pierce naps. She loves to play computer. One day she went into Lance's office and said, "DAD, Dora the Explorer won't reload on my lap top! " and often asks," how you get on Disney dot com?" Hope has blossomed this year , and is such a sweetie!
Joy turned 5 in June and attends all day kindergarten this year. Joy loves learning new things and is always spelling out things she knows. She is a computer fan also and knows her webkinz password but not her phone number? hmm, maybe we'll have to work on that. She is such a smarty, and keeps everyone shocked at the things she comes up with. We pity her poor teacher, but life is never dull with Joy around.
Paxton just turned 7 in December and is in 1st grade. He is a good little student and gets all of his work done. He loves to play computer and play outside. He loves adult attention and candy. He is taking after Peyton and his parents, and is a great little reader.
Liberty turned 8 and was baptized in October! She is in 2nd grade, she still loves art, and loves having her own room now. She likes her space. She is a great big sister and is helping with potty training Hope.
Peyton turned 9 in November , he's doing great in 3rd grade. He is a total computer nerd like his dad, and loves to play Lord of the Rings online. He is an excellent reader and gets to participate in the E.L.P.(extended learning program) program at his school. and He loves it! He is a great helper with all the younger siblings.

"We breed nerds & we like it that way." HAHAHAHAHAHA! I've always told Mike that I want my kids to be nerds! Let's arrange a marriage between max & liberty! He just turned 9! He signs all his school papers "Max the Genius." (a tad self-inflated)

Hey, I didn't get the Christmas letter with my card. I'll just assume that you only sent it to people you don't like.

the letter went to people that don't know everything about my daily crappy life. family knows it. like you get to hear on the whining in person . AND then i didn't give it to people that like to gloss over stuff either, so make any assumptions there you want to. so really just friends, and old relatives. that means no one in my immediate family got it.
