WhoOHOO!

ok so everyone seems overwhelmed with that first post of the day. i have that effect on people.

but read it anyway.

AND i had Paxton's meeting with the speech teacher. he got in! whoohoo! is it odd i am excited he got a special ed diagnosis again? it is just for speech. but he needs help and if that is what it takes whahoo! really he was totally borderline but since i requested. and it could go either way she let him be in. if i would have refused they wouldn't have cared but I requested, why would i then refuse services? that would be stupid on my part. so i am excited.

and i had a chance to talk to Paxton's teacher about tardiness. and she said it was a non issue. and was surprised to hear that Liberty's teacher even thought it was an issue. just like i thought. i am so gonna take it up with the principal.

feeling good today. i got a little nap. AND a shower! and even had time to blow dry my hair. RAD!

what makes a good day for you?

I'm with you--blow drying my hair totally makes my day. Also having time to eat.

I agree! Getting in quality shower/hair/makeup time really makes me feel good. That hasn't happened yet today for me, check my blog and you'll see why. But now I really want to get cleaned up!

Glad you had a good mtg & Paxton got into speech. It really Nathaniel and Ashley. And it's there for that reason - to HELP! Now that's being a GOOD MOM, getting your kids the extra special help they need to grow & learn! Way to Go!!

Getting a shower and fixing my hair is a good day. Putting on makeup makes it a great day.

Good job on getting your son speech help. My middle one has speech issues as well.

Good job Julie! You are such a great Mama! You know your kids needs, and make sure that they are met! To me there is nothing better to make a day than a shower, and clean hair! :)

I agree with the rest. Just having a shower and one that i have time to shampoo my hair. THAT makes it a good day for me. How sad is that? LOL

WTG on getting him help in speech. Olivia was borderline on speech testing too. I figure anything that could possibly help, is worth it!

A nap & a shower what a super day!!! They said the same thing to me about the twins getting into preschool. The lady said they are in unless you don't want to bring them. I wanted to say 'are you crazy! I went through all this & then say oh they really don't need it!' That is great news, if they need how can it hurt!

If I get enough sleep and a shower all in the same day I'm a happy camper.

A good day for me is no headache AND a shower. That would be so great.

I understand being excited about getting help for the kids--whatever it is. It makes you able to breathe again when you think about them. :)
