#2 out of 52 blessings project. MY mom!

ok i love my mom and I am so thankful for her in my life!
she comes to all the big important things!

she has been at the birth of each of my 6 kids.
she comes and celebrates birthdays with us. and we haven't celebrated properly unless Grandma Jones was there.
she loves my kids. and holds them and just lets them talk to her. she has taught them to sew. and sculpt, and draw. she'll come for dinner and will eat with one on each side and one on her lap because they all want to sit with grandma.

she worries about me still and knows when i need her. she has dreams about how to solve my laundry problem and buys rollers and hair ribbons for her house so she can do the girls hair right for Sundays.
she brought my girls ready for church this morning. and then took them home to her house after dinner. becuase joy has her # memorized and called to ask of they could come play and she said yes. she is the one that told joy her # and helped her memorize it too.

My mom is fabulous! and pretty much a saint. let's see why...
  • she raised me.
  • she taught me an assortment of wonderful and useful things
  • she let Lance and i live here for a super long time.(before kids)
  • um she let us live here while Lance was in school with a bunch of kids.
  • she helped raise my kids
  • she taught them art and science, and how to care for pets.
  • she sold us her house
  • let us move in before she moved out so we could save another months rent.
  • takes our girls on Saturday nights
  • watched all of our kids when we went to Portland.
  • brought over a Christmas tree before i decorated the ficus.
  • she loves me and my kids.
    and lance too.
so yeah i love my mom she is a blessing in my life ! i love her and hope she knows how much i appreciate all she does for me and my little family and all she does for all of my siblings too. the sacrifices she has made. and the talents and time she shares.

I just came upon your blog and think it's absolutely fantastic. You're so creative!! I'm also blown away that you can even find the time to blog with 6 kids. Wow. I'm a mom of 4 and some days I feel like I've accomplished something if I find time to breathe.

I blog on postpartum depression, which can at times be, well, depressing, but I try to keep it very positive by focusing on prevention. I'll come back to your blog lots because it's so wonderful and uplifting.

Warmest regards,
Kristin Park
