Saturday is a special day! the update.
THANKS BROOKE! - the haircuts are adorable! i need to get the rest of my herd in.
both of them got A-line bobs, i should have taken a picture of Liberty and Hope before they went to my mom's for the Saturday spend the night. remember she takes my girls every Saturday and brings them home ready for church on Sunday?! FABULOUS! and we now have no excuse to not go. which is why she is doing it.
Then we hit Costco! and hello insanity! we normally go a little later in the day on Saturdays or Friday night. and going today @ 3:30 was the dumbest idea ever. it was packed and there were huge lines. i checked out for under $100. which is practically a miracle! but so crowded.
and then my mom came to get the girls.
so I'm in for a leisurely evening with my guys. i am considering cleaning. I'll see who updated their blogs on my google reader first. and maybe I'll make them play guitar hero or Wii boogie so i can hang out too.
thanks Andrea for picking up Joy and taking her to and from the party. she was thrilled and Lance totally was relieved to not have to. I'm glad Ashley got invited too.
Oh and i forgot earlier but, as i was doing Joy's hair today before the party she told me she had to go so she could dance with the boys. LIKE IT WAS A BOY/GIRL PARTY with dancing. hello! she is 5! I'm gonna have my hands full when she is a teenager. I'm scared already! i think she watches too many tween shows too. OY!
ok and i watched Grey's Last night and hello teary. did you watch it? did you cry too?

You're welcome for taking Joy! It was no problem. Ashley was excited that Joy got to ride with us! They are funny!! Now my kids are having their own party w/ all the candy Ashley got from the pinata!
Oh yeah, you better lock Joy up now. That's exactly why my hubby doesn't want a girl - he knows what I was like! How fabulous that your Mom helps you out like that. And how fun for the girls. How was your meeting? You'll have to email me some of the ideas you guys have for classes this year so I can use them. And Costco on a Sat? You're crazy!! I try to not go anywhere on Saturdays. I got my hair done too, but that's it.
You ARE in trouble!
Glad that the haircuts turned out cute! And I can't believe that you went to Costco. I went the other week on Saturday alone and was cursing!!!
Oh, and Sweet G is going to DIE that Liberty got her hair cut off....
She has been begging me for months. I am making her wait so that we can donate it!!
;o)
Glad everything worked out schedule wise. And oh yes, I bawled during Grey's any mama in the world that watched it probably bawled.
I'm still laughing about Joy saying she was free at 4! I'm happy you like how their hair turned out. That is so great that your mom does that for you, what a mom!!! I loved Grey's & cried more then Bailey!!
I opted out of a post holiday party to spend a quiet evening at home. I am lovin it. I also love that my hubby works for Costco and I rarely have to brave long lines, I just make him bring things home from work.
i love that you have to 'make' your boys play wii so you can play too! - what a great mom they must think you are!
You're a cute mom.
Haven't watched greys yet... I have it reacorded. No time with family at our house. So I'm gonna cry???
I cried and Joy is rad.
Your mom is FABULOUS to take your girls and bring them back ready for church on Sunday!! I would love that!!
Some of my very favorite days in my entire adult life have been when Mike takes the kids somewhere & I just chill at home. Alone. Marinating in quietness.
Dude, I have a hard time going to Costco with TWO of my three kids. And I never, ever get out with less than $100. Good job, girl! I wanna see pics of the cute hair
!!
Brave woman to go to Costco on a Saturday afternoon and then to get out under $100 - amazing! My boys are hooked on the Guitar Hero too. I am just waiting for them to get rock band so that I can become the rock star I always thought I should be! Have a great week!
