Mama you should get life alert!
Joy has been watching TV past her bed time. she just came to tell me ,"you should get life alert." i said what is life alert? wondering if it was the same thing i thought it was, and Joy starts explaining to me the wonders of life alert. "If you fall down and can't reach the phone you push the button and life alert comes. OR if there is a fire you push the button and life alert calls the fire men. "
I promptly tell Joy," that is for old people." (and i am totally thinking it's for people who are alone, I am never alone , I'm not lucky enough to be alone EVER, not even to the bathroom, alone, so if i fall i am yelling for a kid to get dad or get the phone)
and she quickly responds ,"then can we get that for Grandma Jones?" she is a thinker. She thinks Life alert is a great idea! i wonder how much those cost?

Do you ever overhear things the kids say while you are riding in the car, like conversations between the kids, or while they are playing with friends? and do you think" i am totally blogging that!"? and the next thing out of the kids mouth is MOM don't blog that! you can't blog that! You blog everything! that is so embarrassing!

today we were at my sister Maria's house swapping kids back. and somehow a bowl of popcorn got tipped over. i told the kids to pick it up. and people are whining and refusing. then the next thing i see are a bunch of kids laying on the ground eating it like dogs. yeah. they were, thankfully Maria had just mopped this morning. so i got out the camera, and snap a couple pictures. Then the next thing I hear is "She is gonna blog this, my mom blogs everything!" and in the background i hear one of her kids saying if you are eating like dogs why is no one barking? so they started in with the barking. for real! pictures? here you go!
Needless to say after i took the pictures, i made them go out back while we swept and vacuumed the mess. and then it was time to leave.
don't mind that shiny AZ sun! (from left to right-mine, mine, hers, mine, hers, mine, hers, hers, mine, mine)
of course any idea that people might see Peyton's butt and he is instantly making fart sounds and shaking his butt.

I love when my kids fear that I will blog something they say, or when they say, "Oh, that's a blogger!"
Cute doggies eating from the floor! LOL!
Alright, my hubby and I are LAUGHING SO hard we have tears. LIFE ALERT how stinkin funny. That's like our kids calling bow flex and handing the phone to Rob (my hubby). He He ! Kids are the funnest little people. LOVE IT !!
Joy is a crack up! Good thing she'd mopped, because hair and dirt on the floor wouldn't have stopped them at all.
Felicia totally gets sucked-in by infomercials too! That's too funny! All my kids think we need the Betty Crocker cake decorating set! ha ha :)
Love the pups eatin' popcorn! That's SO MY KIDS!!! They'll eat practically anything off the floor! I try to tell them NO, but they're like "it's still good!" What can I do? they're so dang fast!
Luv the Booty pics!
Hilarious! And go ahead and rub it in about the shiny AZ sun! I'm freezing here in Chicago!! We haven't seen the sun in DAYS!
I knew that sun comment might get to some of my readers who live where the sun don't shine. i mean overcast and gloomy, and cold. see our outdoor gear? t-shirts and jeans and no shoes? Love AZ!
Gracie and Isaac are always running to me after they see those commercials with something new and totally RAD that I must desperately need. I have to admit though, they usually go for cake decorating tools or pancake maker thingamabobs. I think they're trying to tell me I need to cook more...
Great pictures as always. Such cute puppies/kids you have!
Connor has told me numerous times that I need Life Alert. And the cake decorating set. Anything you see on TV or read on the internet has to be good in my boys' opinions.
This post has me smiling! I think the Life Alert comment is darling!!!
How sweet that your daughter was thinking of your well being! What a good girl! I am with you on the NEVER being alone for a single moment. Just the other day I was thinking about when all of my kids are in school and I have a good 7 hours ALONE. I think by that time I may not be able to handle it seeing that I don't have any idea what that might feel like.
I'm totally envious of the sunshine and no coats BTW. my family lives in Phoenix and we are visiting in May - can't wait!
OMG! I thought I was the only one that had family that said, "oh crap she's off to blog about this."
In fact, Joe just said it to me last night...you'll see the post later today ;)
Your kids are adorable by the way!!
love the life alert comment you kiddies are too funny! lucky to have family close with kids the same age to play and spend the night!
Too cute!!! I love the popcorn thing! My kids do things like that all the time. Especially the twins. They will pull plates and bowls off the table and then start eating it off the floor. They act like I never feed them!
I am SOOOOO freakin' jealous of the weather there!!! It was ZERO yesterday and NEGATIVE 10 to 20 with the wind chill. And to top it off, today I got stuck in an empty parking lot in my van, with dh out of town, a dead cell phone and 3 small kids. UGH! I am ready to go back to FL!
Very funny stories! I love the pictures of the kids eating off the floor-LOL!
KIDS!! Love it!! KIDS!!! Funny, Kaiya a while back dumped some water on the floor and began licking it and arfing, until I told her to stop! I am not as cool as you!! It must be a kid desire to want to be a dog! FUNNY!
Too funny! I always think I will blog stuff....and actually plan out what to say and which picture to use in my little mind....and then it just doesn't happen! I love that you took pics of the doggie kids--too cute!
k- that is soo funny!
So funny with the popcorn. My kids would have done that too.
And I get the "She's going to blog this" comment all the time too.
my siblings used to do things like this & totally embarrass me! one of my sisters actually licked water out of the gutter on many occasions cause she was a "kitty"
