52 blessings week 7

it's early-ish but i thought of it today so it is happening today!

blessing #7 of 52!
Jenny is fabulous and amazing and uber talented and the reason she is my most important blessing this week? she BAKED ME BREAD! yes special bread just for me. all mine. that i can actually eat, it is crappy low iodine diet approved. can i just say i felt so loved that she emailed and volunteered and did this for me. and it is fabulous! so yummy. i had it with some homemade strawberry jam that jenny inspired me to make last summer, and with olive oil dipping stuff. toasted or not this bread is heavenly! i will be hoarding it and living off this for the next week. thank you for being so supportive and going the extra mile. i felt so blessed.

MY fave friend JENNY! Jen. whatever. i met her as Jenny and i have a hard time letting it go. that and her maiden name sticks with me too. love her . we were 14 at girls camp. she was so fun. we automatically clicked. and were casual friends all through high school. and then at singles ward. i totally remember being surprised when i asked a guy to dance at a Friday night institute dance and he was Jenny's older brother John. too funny. and her coming to singles ward was so fun. we lost touch after we got married for a few years. but finally were on the same page and saw each other off and on when Lindsey would organize something. i would always go if Jenny was coming. she was so fun. then we started doing Lunch 3 years ago. almost weekly. yes we missed here and there but always tried. the worst was a couple years ago when i went off my meds i missed like 3 months of lunches. But i love and look forward to lunch with you and Lindsey every week. we are kind of exclusive about it. but sometimes we invite other people and it is always fun but not quite the same. today was extra fun and relaxing thanks Lindsey for having all of us over. so fun to see Tammy and Brooke and meet Suzanne.

thank you sweet friend you are truly a blessing in my life. you may never know how much i love and appreciate your friendship.

Joy, Corbin and Cooper - G-B barro's summer of '07
it has been so fun to see your boys growing up . and Joy crushing on handsome Corbin(and i have been missing him at lunch, it was so fun to see him last week.) , and Hope and Gavin playing so nicely together lately . they are adorable. and so fun.

Corbin, Joy, and Cooper-
this picture was posed by the mom's so darn cute!
Joy was in heaven and poor corbin cooperated but was horrified.

hope and gavin

you are so talented and crafty and i love your get it done attitude! you have no fear of a project, and are totally not a helpless housewife. you do so much. it is awesome and inspiring. making your own detergent. and sewing aprons. making jam and baking bread. you rock! and tackling sewing projects i would never think to do like sewing crib sheets. seriously impressive! plus painting and changing handles. and whatever else needs done. you do it. and you seriously deserve a tiara for all your do! Domestic goddess for sure. Happy Birthday Jenny! in her birthday tiara from me!

so thank you! thank you for the bread it is heavenly and will totally get me through this rad week. and thanks for being my friend! even though you know the real me. after all these years. and even when i was totally hyper and loud back in the day. and now knowing the wild bunko group deep dark secrets that i can't seem to keep secret . you like me anyway. which makes me feel Fabulous!

Friends are one of the blessings that I count on. I love that I can call certain girls and say "Tell me something funny and get me out of my mood" and they don't even question it. They just do it. I love that.

I love that you have been friends since Girls Camp with Jenny! I have a few friends like that and I LOVE to get together with them. That kind of friendship is the best!!
