i ♥ the oral surgeon.

man that guy is a rock star! seriously i was done with the whole appointment, paperwork, numbing, 2 giant teeth pulled and home in 30 minutes. i've never been so numb so fast. i didn't feel a thing, and i am thrilled. yeah who is thrilled about getting teeth pulled? ME! the girls at the office said i was the perkiest person all day. but it meant the end to the pain. and i was happy to be there. thrilled they squeezed me in and ecstatic it didn't hurt.

i otherwise feel disgusting the hydrocodone(vicodin) i took earlier has made me so sick, i puked twice before going in . and i still feel rather nasty, can't wait for that to wear off.
Lance is gonna go get my oxycodone(percacet) in a little bit. WHOOHOO for that. i hope that one doesn't make me sick too.

gonna drink some soup and go lay down again.

just thought i'd fill you in.

I ♥ Oral surgeons!

♥ Percoset was my friend after both of my c-sections! :)

So glad they got you in and all taken care of. You are a brave woman....it takes them forever to numb me, like two shots worth....and then the anxiety always gets me so I get laughing gas as well...and that just for a cavity fill! They'd have to seriously knock me out for a pulling!

Hope the percocet works for you, and you start feeling perkier soon.

Glad it went so well. I had a beautiful experience at the oral surgeons last year when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. One minute I was sitting in the waiting room admiring the bamboo floors and listing to the water feature, and the next minute I was waking up being told it was time to go home......well, it wasn't really that fast, but it was amazingly painless.

I hate to tell you this, but percocet is stronger than vicodin and therefore MORE likely to make you sick! Sorry! Hopefully you just have a strange reaction to vicodin in particular for some strange reason and the percocet is fine. Did you not take either one after you had your babies? Percocet is my best freind after surgeries. I hope it works for you!

I just love dental stories! Especially the goods one where the patient is out of pain and a happy camper! Couldn't be that I am married to a dentist and worked in our office could it? So glad you are feeling better!!

Here's to a speedy recovery-both the flu and the surgery. What teeth did you have pulled? I remember when I had my molar pulled almost 2 years ago and then took hydrocodone(?) afterwards-I felt just gross. I'd rather just load up on ibuprofin. Good luck-and who knows, maybe the drugs will work wonders on you.

I'm so glad things went well. I'm the same with vicodin. It totally makes me puke, but percacet is great after my c-sections.

When I got my wisdom teeth pulled everything hurt from the numbing to the recovery when I got dry sockets. I'm flying to AZ and going to your guy if I ever need more work done. Hope you feel better soon!
